Pete Franklin was one of the all time greats. That being said, dude was a prick.

I think that's a pretty safe assumption. Not wanting to comment on his feelings about Colt pretty much says it all.

I was really surprised by Lerner's comments. They pretty much reeked of "we're going to make a splash at QB...Colt's not 'the' guy." If that truly is the case, he didn't help Heckert/Holmgren's smokescreens.

And then Tony Grossi's tweet regarding Lerner... "He's a pathetic figure, the most irrelevant billionaire in the world." which he immediately erased. Reporters are entitled to their opinion but that was a bit out of line. If I'm Holmgren, I'm pulling Grossi's press pass.

We'd all be better for that

Pretty pathetic to erase a tweet. Stand behind your comments or don't comment at all. I agree Holmgren should send him away.

Translation: "I'm just gonna throw $50 million at Matt Flynn and hope for the best"

I think Grossi just needs to QQing because Lerner didn't give him the interview.

Kiper's latest mock has the Brownies taking RG3 with the 4th pick.
