Cleveland Browns 2011 Super Awesome In-Season Thread

royal_kLove the playbooks, BR. Some funny shit! But true as well.
I really see us drafting defense in the first round now. With all of the players being let go, we really have no choice. Unless negotiations are somehow settled and they can sign FAs. Also count me in as one that hopes Wallace stays. He's proven he can be a very good backup. -
ytownfootballYeah I think I'd keep Wallace around, clearly not as a starter (though I don't know if the time he's spent can prove/disprove he's capable) he certainly has shown he has the ability.

Crimson streakOne player I would love to have is jj watt. I think he will be a stud at the next level. I like him more than bowers and fairley.

I love this guy. Motor and heart. -
Crimson streakI actually see a lot of Jared Allen in him. I love his work ethic

Where you been BR? Safe to say the Browns going Dline with their first pick now? -
BR1986FBGot some interesting news before I left work today. Kid that I work with pulls me in his office and tells me his girlfriend just called him. Seems her uncle(?) worked with Shurmur at Michigan State and they are still pretty tight. He then proceeds to tell me that a group of us will get to go over to Berea and meet all of the coaches, (hopefully) players, etc behind the scenes. That should be cool if it happens.

OQBA lot of good and very funny stuff posted today!
BR1986FB....those playbooks are priceless and very true! I was laughing for a good 5 minutes when I saw those.
As for the backups next season....I say keep Wallace and draft a Andy Dalton or Greg McElroy. I could see both of those guys having success in the WCO in the NFL.
The talk about our first pick....it's almost certain we will be drafting a D-lineman, just a matter of which one are we going to draft. I will say this, the draft is full of really solid D-lineman so we shouldn't have to worry about getting another Courtney Brown. -

Christ I am old, I read that first though about the Oklahoma Congressman and played QB there. -

That's pretty awesome. I got to do something similar back in 2003ish. I got to meet a few players, Andra Davis and Kernard Lang (lol unibrow lol) were playing dominoes and slamming the pieces down on the table so hard. Always stuck out to me. -
Tigerfan00Im surprised Kernard Lang wasnt waving his arms.

BR1986FBNo huge secret here although I'd argue that the D-Line is in just as bad shape...

Commander of AwesomeInteresting read, I highly doubt the Vikings let a guy like Rice go, though they do have a ton of FAs so I suppose its possible. I just wont be hold my breathe waiting on it.

Pretty much specials teams and Father Time against the Saints. -
Commander of AwesomeI was expecting them to put both of Bowens INTs as a play and then I would inserted an offensive play like Cribbs long TD against the Bucs.
-
BR1986FBThey were talking about Bowens' pick 6's the other day on WKNR. They started talking about obscure "Vegas odds" and what they would have been on Bowens returning not 1 but 2 in a game. If they even HAD those odds, someone would have retired rich.
