Cavs Continue to Roll in Preseason

Teams expressing interest in a player doesn't prove anything. He's not a bad player, I'm not saying that. But he's not as good as Cavs fans think he is.
What the hell does teams expressing interest prove? Nothing.
And the Cavs won't trade him unless they get a star in return? What the fuck are they thinking? No team is going to trade a "star" for a serviceable backup. Yes, I am an arrogant prick when I have to talk to dumbasses.
LMAO yeah that proves nothing /sarcasm. You guys might as well quit posting, you are arguing with a child. -

And don't try to say McDyess is the Spurs center.
Wrong again Dumbass. How can you call yourself a fan and not know what position a top 50 player of all time plays?

If you're talking about this year Dejuan Blair is going to be playing center -

"Numerous team have inquired about Varejao"..... Its crazy how these NBA GM's want a guy with no talent isnt it?
According to Ken Berger of CBS Sports, "sources say numerous teams have inquired about [Anderson] Varejao, but the Cavs won't even entertain such talks unless they're getting a superstar in return."
In particular, Berger reports he's on Denver's list of veteran players it'd like in a trade for Carmelo Anthony, but that Melo has no interest in signing an extension in Cleveland.
Denver's frontcourt has been slowed by injuries heading into the season, and Varejao could provide a reliable and capable starter if need be, or some high energy off the bench.
But if the team won't get a star in return, it looks like they'll be holding onto him for now.
Yet, don't entirely rule it out in the future. It's been speculated that if Cleveland is struggling at the trade deadline this season, Mo Williams and Antawn Jamison could be on the block.
If the team is able to package one of them with Varejao for a star, it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibly they could indeed include him in such a deal if it makes sense.
Anyways, BACK TO Basketball:
I find it interesting that teams are trying to pick off our good players, outside of stud players, or top picks I hope we don't move him. He's a solid building block to this team. Mo Williams and Twan though go be traded for all I care, I dont see a future with them on this team. I would like to know what players/picks the teams are trying to give up for Andy. -

This discussion is about the top centers in the NBA. A team expressing interest proves what? That he has value? Yes, I agree with that. That his value is of a top 15 center in the NBA? Not by a long shot. -

Seriously, where is the top 15 arguement coming from? I even went back and read, the only person who even said top 15 is you. My god you're dense. -
I drain 3'sHorford not a top 25 center. LOL. Fail.

You said to name them, and I did. Then you claimed that Varejao is on par with many of the guys I listed, which he's not. -

It's really hard to have a discussion on here with people and take them serious when people make such uninformed statements like that. He's obviously a top 15 center. -
wildcats20Commander of Awesome;528444 wrote:Who is Harrison Barnes, he playing College bball? Outside of OSU I dont pay much attention to the college basketball scene. I think the Cavs have the talent to make a playoff push, but not much else, I do not see us winning 17-25 games like a lot of sports writers are predicting.
Harrison Barnes was the #1 recruit coming out of high school this past season. He is now with North Carolina. And more than likely is a one and done, which KILLS me as a Carolina fan. -

He was an allstar last year...id say hes probably top 25 -
Commander of AwesomeI asked your opinion on who the top 15 centers were because you started spouting off about how the Cavs didn't have a top 15 player at any spot. I started to think about it and had trouble coming up with top 15 centers. Then you continued to act like a jackass.

I know, I saw it happen with Oden/Conley at OSU. It hurt. Conley could have really used another yr in college too. -

Who is saying that hes a great player? I just think the Cavs fans on here want you to give him some credit. You said that the "Cavs dont have any talent". Why would NBA GM's go after a guy without talent? Your words not mine.
"when I have to talk to dumbasses" get over yourself.....You're not a NBA GM, coach, scout or even waterboy. You played some college bball at a small school that would more than likely struggle with some of the better high school teams in the state. It doesnt mean that you're the answer to all things basketball on this site. -

I mean Carolina will reload after him, but even just 2 years would help the program get so far away from what happened last year.
And yeah Oden an Conley both needed 1 more year. -
KR1245As for Tim Duncan..........the guy is a fucking PF, anybody that argues otherwise doesnt have a clue

Lol this desperation post again? Yeah, you got me dude. Me, COA, SQ, Clayaiknation, BR, Hoops, and KR are all the same people. It's not possible that this many people think you are an idiot douche bag troll. /sarcasm
The funny thing is so many people find you to be an idiot, you had to support one of Capone's posts one time. -

Only reason he was ever listed as such is because he came into the league alongside Robinson. He guards the opposing teams centers, plays in the paint and fits all the criteria that would classify someone as a center.
It really doesn't matter, but don't say someone doesn't have a clue when it's pretty apparent that although he may be listed as a PF at times, he's truly the center.
