You cant just add Bosh to that current roster. Battier, Brooks, Scola, Budinger and Ariza.....I'm thinking that at least 2 of these guys would be gone, possibly 3.
I understand they would have to give something up, but they do have pieces.
And how can you say they wouldn't be anywhere close to the best team in the league? They won 42 games last year, and the three years before when Yao was healthy they won 52, 55 and 53. To say Bosh doesn't bring 5-8 more wins a year is kind of dumb. -
thedynasty1998hoops23;407306 wrote:That team would not win 60 games. In fact, they may be lucky to get 50-55 wins.. Kevin Martin is a good volume scorer, but he doesn't give you much else. Yao isn't likely to stay healthy.. I mean, I couldn't blame Bosh for going 'home', but that team is no where near a title contender.
Before Yao got hurt last year, they won 52, 55 and 53 the previous 3 years, so they have already done the 50-55 and wouldn't be "lucky" to get back there even without Bosh. -
ytownfootballLol..the grass continues to be greener in other places for thedynasty, even though it may be the backyard of your ranch located in Death Valley.

We are going to have to agree to disagree on this one. This is why I tossed out the Capone comparison with you. Let it go man. You're not going to change my opinion and I'm not going to change yours. Let it go.......we know where you stand on this. -

That's fine. But that doesn't mean it's okay for you to continually bring up the same thing, yet when I do I'm the bad guy. -
jordo212000The Rockets wouldn't be the best team in the league with Bosh added to the mix, but they would be very good. Top 5 or 6 team in the West. I think they'd give the Lakers a nice fight if they met in the playoffs

KR1245I'm trying to talk about the Cavs offseason. You bring up the same thing "Cavs package stinks" or "teams can offer much more than the Cavs" hell, you even put it in bold. We get it. Everybody know whats your thoughts are on this one. You're not the "bad guy" but when you make comments about "hoping he leaves because he deserves better" you dont really help yourself. Just leave it alone.

If you really think they would win 50-55 games without Bosh then you are a Ratard. -

Why? I love when people say comments like that, but don't justify it. History has proven that with Yao Ming, they are a 50+ win team. You are retard for thinking they can't. I'll await your reasoning. -
ytownfootballJust the fact that Yao has been anything but healthy his entire career should be reasonable enough for the reasonably minded.

That is a fair argument. Yao isn't going to be able to play 82 games, but he shouldn't necessarily have to. In the three previous seasons in which they won 50 plus games, he played 48, 55 and 77. So, even though he is missing games, the Rockets proved they can win without him at times.
Anyways, that's enough about the Rockets. I think with Bosh, they are realistically a 55 win team, and maybe more depending on injuries and who they would have to give up. -
like_thatI really hope the knicks fail miserably, they deserve it. The best part if LeBron stays in cleveland, it would be a big FUCK YOU to everyone especially the media who would never take their time to explain why he would stay in his hometown.

BR1986FBStephen A. Smith is reporting that at the end of Lebron's meeting with NJ this morning that Prokhorov stood up, walked up to Lebron, looked him in the eye, fist bumped him and said "I must break you."

That dude sounds awesome. Everything I have read about him raves about how he is just a huge party animal and throws money around like it's candy at a parade. Last year he racked up a $47,000 bill while at lunch in NY. Must be nice to have more money than God.
Cavs are just lucky they are stuck in Newark the next 2 years, because I think had they been opening the new arena in Brooklyn this season instead of 2012 I think it would have been much more tempting for Lebron to leave for the Nets. -

I thought I read somewhere that he was trying to break the world record for the bench press in his weight class, or something like that. To throw up a ridiculous amount of weight at 6'9" tall is practically impossible unless he has T-Rex arms. New Jersey, with Prokhorov, is the ONLY team that really worries me in Lebron's courtship sweepstakes. -
like_thatI don't understand all this talk here about a S&T for Bosh. Cleveland has made no attempt to talk to him. I would think they would meet with Bosh if this were to happen.

I love how he's pissed off the Knicks with some huge billboard or painting or something of him and Jay-Z right across from their offices. -

The Knicks owner is a little bitch (shocker he's related to the Tribe's owner). He's pissed about this and pissed about the fact that the Nets held their cheerleading tryouts in NYC. He called Jay-Z to whine to him about the billboard. You didn't see Dan Gilbert bitching to the Knicks owner when they put that big Lebron billboard in downtown NY. -
FootwedgeBreaking...sources are now saying that LeBron laid a double decker deuce at Madison Square Garden. Still waiting for further details.

j_crazyif there was corn in the poo, i don't see how anyone could argue that he's not going to be playing for the florida marlins next year.

BR1986FBSomewhere Najeh Davenport is shaking his head wondering why LBJ didn't go the "extra mile" and hit the closet.

That's from Windy's twitter. Prokhorov is the man.Nets have bigger banners, bigger ads in papers in NYC and now they have a bigger jet. Knicks came in a G4, Prokhorov showed up in G5. -

The Nets are probably more of a threat at landing Lebron in 3 years. -
IggyPride00ESPN really needs to find another local guy to talk to. I have heard Goldhammer on ESPN 3 times in the last 12 hours. Talk to Reghi or Rizzo's Rug if you must, but I can't stand Goldhammer.

BR1986FBIggyPride00;407755 wrote:Talk to Reghi or Rizzo's Rug if you must
Off topic but that crap cracks me up when Reghi is trying to do his "Bump & Run" segment and all of these guys are calling in saying "deez nutz", "Rizzo's Rug" and "Reghi's hair plugs." It's not that what they are saying is so funny as much as you can tell it frustrates the hell out of Reghi. There were a couple of times I was laughing so hard driving home that the drivers in other cars probably thought I was nuts.
