Cleveland Cavaliers (current) off-season rumors

devil1197I wouldn't post shit from ESPN, like Windy says the E stands for Entertainment. Their still trying to push the trio of Wade/Bosh/LeBron in Miami when everyone knows it financially retarded and multiple players publically shot it down as a joke. It's front page fucking news on their site and its complete BS.
Honestly, what is a Nets guy supposed to say about the meeting? -

ESPN is a joke at times, but I don't see why they are with this. They're reporting/pushing it because Miami is pushing for it. Why would it be financially retarded? Get 3 max players, sign a few pretty decent roles players that take less money, and round out the roster with some young guys that will get minutes in the regular season here and there. Micky is the 2nd or 3rd richest owner. Money isn't an issue. In the future, that payroll could get to 100M, maybe 110M, then the lux tax. But if Micky got a dynasty started for the ages, I don't think he'd mind. It's no worse than the Mavs spending 80M+ just to get bounced in the first and second round. -

Fill out an 8 man roster with 12k? Good luck with that LOL -
gibby08Latest Rumor From Rotoworld:
A S/T that would send Bosh/Hedo to Chicago and Deng to Toronto -
I drain 3'sHow would that work?
-
wes_mantoothMoneywise...there is no way that works unless there are many more pieces or a second team involved.
-
gibby08There would be more pieces...but those are the only names mentioned

The Bulls have so much cap room that they can absorb the extra salaries without having to make them match. Deng actually makes more than Hedo, so they would be able to still offer Lebron a max deal I think. Because Bosh would take up 1 max slot, and they would gain another million back on the cap in place of Deng.
A starting line-up of Rose/James/Hedo/Bosh/Noah would be a force to be reckon with, as well as being super long.
I doubt that deal happens, but Toronto is desperate to get rid of Hedo, and they would get an upgrade in Deng and a massive trade exemption which is just what they were looking for. -
IggyPride00It works moneywise because the Bulls are 30+ million under the cap.
-
gibby08If that deals happens...they are the easy front-runner in the East

Yeah, but don't they still have to be with in like 10% of the salaries to make it work? So once they(Toronto) sign Bosh to say 20 mil they have to take on that amount in return? I am kind of a retard when it comes to these salary issues with the NBA though. -

The money doesn't have to match if the team you are trading with is under the cap.
Like Chicago sent Hinrich and a pick to Washington for a 2nd rounder in return, and that was allowed because Washington was under the cap enough to absorb the $9 million salary.
Chicago can likewise absorb Bosh's entire salary, so the money does not have to match. -

lhslep134Windhorst said today (off the record) that Lebron is definitely going to stay and all of this hoopla is just a show.
This was said to my best friends brother who was at IMG today standing next to Windhorst watching the crowd of people react to Jay Z leaving his meeting with Lebron.
If you choose not to believe me, I really don't care at all, but I now have a terrific peace of mind that Lebron is staying. -

Over on the RCF...there is a lot of this kind of talk. Brian Shaw had an interview and he thinks the Cavs know something that no one else does as well. We will see.... -

Nets the front runner for LeBron?
Where a source close here in Cleveland said Lebron "didn't come away impressed with either team he met with today and, at this point, there is a greater than 80% chance he DOESN'T leave Cleveland." -

Ever since I watched More Than a Game and saw how loyal the guy was, especially to his crack whore mom(she said hes leaving over her dead body) I have believed he was re-upping with the Cavs. I just hope its for more than 3 years so they can build a team around him instead of doing this mix n match shit for another 2 years.
