What the hell do you think a Cleveland paper is going to say?

As I said eariler....if he comes back to Cleveland...it will show that he is the ego-maniac loads of people think he is

If he comes back to Cleveland it shows he wants to bring a championship to his home town. How can you say he doesn't want to win a championship when the Cavs have had the best record the last two seasons.

No doubt Lebron loves Cleveland/Akron....it is going to take a lot to pull him away. Gilbert has that going for him....now Gilbert needs to get creative and get Lebron his "pippen".

It sounds more and more like Lebron is happy where he is at.

Right, loyalty and integrity have nothing to do with it.

Jesus Christ.....Cleveland isn't his home town...

That s like saying someone for Grove City's hometown is Columbus

And if the Cavs know something, you can be damn sure it's not going to leak to the public.

I'm thinking it's resigning Lebron and then pulling of a s/t for Bosh.

    That's definitely wishful thinking though.

He lives 30 minutes down the road. People tend to attach themselves to the closet major city.

In terms of professional sports it is, as there aren't any high level professional teams in Akron.

And btw Lebron's house is only about 10 minutes from the Richfield Coliseum and only 25 from the Q (on a good day of traffic).

That's pretty damn close to a hometown in my eyes.

I agree, but if I am Lebron, I am still putting a lot of pressure on the Cavs to make me happy(get another star in here) or I am walking. I cannot picture Lebron showing his hand either. If he wants a championship, he needs Gilbert to believe that he is walking...so it forces his hand.

If I'm Lebron...I set a deadline of July 8th for them to make a major move(FA,S/T) or I walk

    Are you seriously this stupid?

LeBron holds all the cards, and nobody is going to make any moves until he makes his.

It's stupid that I make sense?

I agree with some of this. Gilbert has proven that he's willing to spend the cash and make the moves to keep Lebron happy. Gilbert will do whatever he can to make this team better, he has proven that imo.

Yeah, that is true. Gilbert has never failed him in his wishes before....at least that any of us have ever heard.
