Cleveland Cavaliers (current) off-season rumors

BR1986FBI'm not worried about it.

That's some welcome news. Thank goodness. I still have never understood why they went with the methodical dribble dribble long jumpshot offense with Lebron as the trigger man. He isn't a great jumpshooter and is unstoppable when he takes the ball off the dribble. -

Heard from multiple sources today that LeBron does not have Monday deadline to make decision. Wants to do it soon but no timetable.
Come on LeBron. Make up your fucking mind. -

That's why I said that IF he stays I think it will make him (Lebron) even more lethal. Mike Brown's offense was "just play defense and do whatever you want when we have the ball." -

Stuff like this makes me want this get this "will he or won't he" business over with. I am tired of people fawning all over him and worshiping him. You know Lebron is digging all this attention. Part of him probably wants to become a free agent again next year so he can get this attention again -

There are a billion threads on here about Lebron so this has probably already been mentioned. Has anyone heard the voicemail messages put together by Mike & Mike of Dan Gilbert, Prokhorov & Brett Favre? Some funny shit there. Your sentence reminded me of Favre. -
jpake1I would laugh if Miami gets shut out too. I'd be so pissed, all I could do is laugh. Wade WILL do it too, if Riley can't get title contending help. That's been known. If Wade leaves, Miami may have found their future SF in Harrison Barnes next year. I don't read much into Pat talking with LBJ's camp for almost 4hrs. That's just Pat being Pat, don't think it really matters if it was 45mins or 4hrs.

Wouldn't it be a kick in the pants if for all of this talk of a "Big 3" in Miami and they got shut out on Bosh, Lebron AND Wade. Highly doubtful but I'd LMAO.
Sorry to quote myself but there may be more legs to this than thought. Apparently the Bulls have another meeting with Wade and his agent tonight (didn't reallly know that they already met). I'd be surprised if he left Miami but definitely something to watch. -

Beat me to it.
Quote:
IraHeatBeat - Potentially staggering news, Dwyane Wade is poised to meet again tonight with the Bulls, likely in the presence of his agent. -

Maybe the LBJ/Bulls meeting is scheduled for 2:30 tomorrow because if Wade verbally agrees tonight with the Bulls there may be no meeting. -
jpake1If Wade went to Chicago the pro is that I'd be able to watch him a lot in person and every night on tv. The con being, my team would suuuuuuck.

Wishful thinking, but that would be nice lol. -

I would still be shocked if he left Miami. I thought the reason he was taking meetings with other team was to slow their progress, maybe I'm wrong. I guess I could see him in Chicago, it is his hometown. -
hoops23Loved Byron's press conference. Said everything us Cavs fans have been wanting to hear the last few years.
Focus on defense, "Showtime" offense and his top assistant is Paul Presser, the creator of the "Point Forward".. -
jordo212000Wow that would be a huge move if D-wade left for the Bulls. It is "home" for him, after all. The funny thing is everybody mentioned Lebron leaving his team as the main possibility. Few people thought Wade would leave.
Wouldn't be kind of crazy if after all this the Heat was the team left without a chair -
jpake1No, it wouldn't be funny. A LOT has to happen for Miami to be without a chair. But hey, it's been a wild ride thus far, and it just started.

KR1245Windy:
All these teams working on big-name partnership includes #Cavs. Source said Raptors like some of Cavs players in potential sign-and-trade.
Cavs could provide package of prospects, veterans, expiring contracts and instant salary-cap relief to Raptors.
Difference between Cavs position and others, they can also take bad contracts from Raptors to aid rebuilding effort. Heat, Bulls can't.
Goes without saying would be predicated on LeBron re-sign and then attempting to recruit Chris Bosh to CLE. So still very complex. -
hoops23From what I'm reading, the Knicks and Clippers are pretty much out of it.
The Nets are appealing to LBJ right now, because their presentation was great. -
jpake1Wade listening to Chicago may have something to do with LBJ. Sources things the Bulls are now the favorite to land Wade. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/67761/20100702/lebron_wade_want_to_play_together/
That would be a kick in the dick. I felt they would hookup with each other, I just thought it'd be in Miami; not Chicago. I think it's all a lot of smoke for right now. I've believed in Pat Riley, so if he goes down, I'm going down with him without jumping ship. -
hoops23I don't think Wade and LBJ end up with one another.
I believe LeBron ends up here and Bosh joins him.
At least that's what I hope happens -
IggyPride00Lebron needs to get his act together because I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Wade/Bosh end up in Chicago together and then LBJ will be stuck in Cleveland with no other star having to go against that team every year for the next half decade. Wade to Chicago is a huge curve ball. It seems redundant to me as Rose is the same kind of player. I always thought Bosh and Wade were the most likely to pair together given their personal relationship as well as the fact they share an agent.
The Cavs pulling off Bosh would be the miracle of the century, because I have literally seen no one other than Windy mention them as even a legit candidate, and the way windy talks you'd think a deal is all in place waiting for Lebron's signature to return. -

You don't hear anybody talking about Bosh ending up in Cleveland because nobody cares. LeBron staying in Cleveland isn't something that ESPN can sell, however, by naming NY, Miami, Chicago, and even LA, they reach out to those markets.
If ESPN was reporting that Bosh could end up in Cleveland, they probably begin to lose interest in this free agency circus, especially if they thought LBJ was re-upping in Cleveland. -
jpake1Nobody is reporting it, that's the problem. Bosh probably doesn't want to play in Cleveland, but he'd love to play with LBJ; elsewhere. Just my two cents.
