You can not spot reduce fat...you have to train and reduce total fat..then your big ass cheeks will shrink.ernest_t_bass;1587108 wrote:I genetically have large ass cheeks. What is a good way to shed ass cheek fat? -

DYING for the weather to get warmer, so I can get outside. I plan to do block intervals around town, or head to the track and do intervals there. I hate treadmills.like_that;1587115 wrote:Sprint. -

I'm not Catholic, but I'm going to try and participate in lent this year, outside of ONE night at Logan pizza joint. I'm going to give up carbs in the form of bread, pasta, and potatoes. Focus more on veggies.Fly4Fun;1587117 wrote:Stop eating cheesy poofs. -

Running also seems like more fun when you're doing intervals. I hate just going out for a jog. I like sprinting/running fast paced, then either lightly jogging/walking for a break, then repeat.like_that;1587129 wrote:I feel your pain. I'm itching to run steps. -

The HIIT program (High Intensity Interval Training) worked wonders for me back when I cared about not being out of shapeernest_t_bass;1587131 wrote:I like sprinting/running fast paced, then either lightly jogging/walking for a break, then repeat.
Basically what you said although a bit more structured. Sprint for 30 seconds, walk for 30 seconds and repeat however many times you can and gradually build up that number once your endurance goes up -
SonofanumpCardio day, 6.75 miles of treadmill. I hate the treadmill, but I hate winter more.

AutomatikGonna test a new gym out this weekend with some free passes. I'm always paranoid when It's time commit to a new gym. I've been burnt in the past and ended up stuck in a contract at a place I hated.
This place looks legit. Only knock, is a bit pricey and not as close to my apartment as I'd like, but I can manage. It's also located in hipster central, but I don't think those fools concern themselves with working out.

Yeah, they worked out before it became cool to fight back against the American obesity problem by working out. So they're done with that shit now and getting skinny-fat before simply ballooning.Automatik;1587319 wrote:Gonna test a new gym out this weekend with some free passes. AutomatikBump just because.
I'm back in the gym regularly and weak....very very weak. Not overweight, just soft as fuck. 186 on a legit scale. Aiming to cut 10lbs of fat with leangains and sheer determination in the next 8 weeks or so. I think I can do it even though I'm very limited regarding what I can do in the gym.
I also just got a Nutribullet. The hype is real. It took me a few tries to get the ratios down, but after that it's been great. I highly recommend it. -
like_thatBack to running steps since the weather is finally nice. As been discussed on here before, sprint workouts are much better for the body.

dlazzI ran 3 miles the other day. Felt awesome. Now I'm lazy and haven't run since.

What are some good sprint workouts? I tend to default to 3 mile type runs as my summer cardio.like_that;1605015 wrote:Back to running steps since the weather is finally nice. As been discussed on here before, sprint workouts are much better for the body. -

Azubuike24Tore the lateral meniscus in the left knee and medial meniscus in the right knee in January. Had arthroscopic surgery on both. Incredible recovery, was fully functional within 4 days (pain tolerance the only limitation). Finally back able to train legs although they both "popped" while doing high-rep speed work with Oly squats. I'm really nervous to be dive-bombing again because I still can't get that "pop" out of my head, despite the injuries being healed.
Anyone gone through this before? The mental part of being able to let go, especially training legs is really frustrating.
On the bright side, I injured them right after New Year's but didn't have surgery until mid-March. For over 2 months, I was still dead lifting as heavy as possible, and the doc said because I didn't lose any strength in the quads, hams or glutes (most likely due to continuing everything but squats) allowed for such a rapid recovery. -
