    Yes, they prob will.

I had a year left a college when Oblivion came out -- college grades were fine, sleep was not.

Does anyone else have as much trouble as I am with Bears? If there are two bears I stand no chance. I always get my ass handed to me.
  • hoops23
Yes. I've been owned by a single bear a couple of times. I kept seeking him out for revenge.

I don't even mess with Giants and Mammoths unless I have a nice spot to hide.

I'm up to level 43. One Handed at 92

I need to pick this game up when I get some extra cash.

I can't wait until the semester is over so I can buy this game. Can't let myself get it until then because I will slack in my studies.

Yeah a place to hide is clutch. I think Giants are easier as I can run away from them. Bears are just too fast, I cant get away from them nor can I deal enough damage fast enough. One bear I can usually handle but lately I've been running into groups of them which is just hopeless.

    I'm currently level 26 or 27.

I usually summon a flame antoch(sp) and then exaust all my magika before hammering on a bear. I am at level 25ish, and I noticed enemies have gotten significantly harder. There is no way to stand and hack and slash two bears without healing yourself.

I also hadn't played since last Wednesday because of thanksgiving and ended up playing for 6 hours last night. There is always one more thing to sell, buy or explore. Or one more quest to do. Greatest game ever.

There are a couple of things I don't like. On PS3 pop ups can be an issue. Long loading times when I fast travel say from riften to solitude. I can get up pee and be back and it will still be loading. Last night after playing for 4+ hours I got some laggyness I had never gotten before. Not sure what was going on there.

I played this game some, I've completed the main story line of killing the dragon (won't mention his name) and also the main story lines for Windhelm, The Mage College (Forget the name) and Riften. It's a game with some nice stories and great graphics but it's play is pretty damn easy. That's really my only complaint.

Bethesda just released a patch today for the lag......Tons of PS3 players were complaining about the lag when their game file went over 6MB - they would have to restart their system then would only get about 1-2 hrs in before the lag would return. My save file is at 16 MB and the game is no longer playable

Thanks! Can I get this by just searching for updates from the PS3 main screen?

It came in the mail Saturday. I starting playing yesterday. And couldn't stop.

Did the beginning stuff, a few quests around Riverwood and then a few around Whiterun and now am planning to just say "fuck it" to organized plot advancement in order to spend a few hours walking the world to join factions and do random quests, so every city and town (or at least most of them) are lit up for fast-travel purposes.

My character's basically a Nord barbarian with a Charles Manson beard. I pretty much have butchered everything I've fought by swinging a war hammer. Except for a Hagraven I ran into while trying to do a quest to save some tree in Whiterun. That thing's exploding fireball spell tended to kill me before I could even reach it.

I've put in over 40 hours and have only done 2 main story quests. I haven't found a fighters guild, are they not in the game?

Right in whiterun. They are called the companions this time around.

Ahhh I was wondering who they were. You get Werewolf ability from them right?

I don't know for sure, but I thought stuff like Werewolf and Vampire you have to be infected by one out in the world somewhere.

From doing a "class" quest line Winterhold (casters) or Riften (thieves... sneak, pickpocket, etc) you get gear that is top of the line appropriate for that play style. I'm assuming for doing the quest line associated with Champions you get some good melee combat gear.

All I know is that yesterday, I got to beat the shit out of some dude in a church for the Companions.

And that made joining them worth the time it took!
