I walked right up to him at first because I was curious.

He then launched me into the air with a single uppercut that ended my life.

I am a dark elf going for the light armor destruction and one handed route. Smithing is my other skill that is significantly higher than others.
  • McFly1955
I'm Breton --- mainly improving one handed, archery, and sneak.

Thinking about focusing more on conjuration. Any one else doing a lot of that? I am level 9 so its still early for me (I think). What level is everyone else at?

Picked this up yesterday and promptly played for about 5 hours. Game is awesome so far, improved over Oblivion IMO.Think I'm at level 6 atm went with a character that specializes in magic/fighting skills dont recall the name of the race. Anyone know where to find the dark brotherhood?

I never did play Oblivion. I never cared much for that genre of games. I won't make fun of anyone for playing it, though.

What system are you guys playing it on?

While I haven't picked it up yet, I remember reading in Game Informer that the dude who was previewing a month ago got kinda started on the way to the Dark Brotherhood. In some city, he did a quest involving a kid asking for help with a corrupt orphanage owner and killed her, which set things up with someone giving him a "we know what you did" note.

Which is possibly a more moral way of joining than my preferred Oblivion method of just butchering the chick outside Anvil who gives you the quest to retrieve her family heirloom war hammer from her Marauder husband who ran off with his gang to a nearby dungeon. I'm like, "Yeah, bitch, this thing has good elemental damage...you're only getting the business end of it returned." And next thing you know, I'm getting missions to kill other people right and left!

I am a level 18. Last night I played for 5 hours and all I did was steal potions and weapons from stores and then sell them back to the store the next day lol. I am a 55 sneak.

Level 10 now. I spent last night becomng a vampire by (not on purpose) and not realizing it before my 3 days were up for the easy cure then unbecoming a vampire.

The vampire quest in Oblivion for removing the curse was one of the biggest pain in the ass quest. Hopefully its not as tedious as in Oblivion.

oh btw I am a werewolf

No it was pretty easy. Probably took 10 minutes at most.

What? How the hell you do that? Any drawbacks?

I think there is a mission for it, or you can get attacked by a werewolf I believe...

I have a ring that randomly transforms the user into a werewolf right now... I've yet to turn into one though.

I heard it's pretty sweet though, as you can pretty much tear through anybody...

This game is so fucking addicting though.

Hell yeah it is. I've been thinking about it during work today, feel like a huge nerd. Which side have you guys joined? The Imperials or the Stormcloaks?

Oh, I had an assassin tailing me last night as well... I was walking through some wooded area near Riverwood when I turned around and saw a guy with a dagger drawn. He said something about me having a target on my back and it was his job to fulfill the request.

So, I killed him and found a note that had my characters name on it and how some guy payed to have a target on my back.

The note said he didn't have to kill me, but if he did it was no big deal... Thought that was pretty cool.

I think I'm around level 8 now, specializing in two handed weapons, smithing, and something else that I can't recall atm smh..
