You would never think a 15 minute workout could be that intense. Much more taxing than the sprints. Feels like HS & college football days. -

Considering there was 200+ lbs on the sled and I was pushing it in muddy gravel I'll take this as sarcasm on your part. When I find a flat surface that I won't have to fight through mud, the weight & number of sprints will increase. -
I Wear PantsI had lean turkey burgers and grilled yams for lunch. Does that count?

Azubuike24Bacon, in the form of "natural pork" where the animals are fed what they are naturally meant to eat (this excludes 98% of any pork humans eat today) will not cause any disease. You could literally eat it in unlimited quantities every day of your life, as long as it's not combined with certain other foods (mainly from high-glycemic carbohydrate sources) and not get modern disease.
The problem is A) when you combine it with these things and B) use Hormel Bacon (just to name an example) as your anecdotal evidence. Both of these will lead to health problems, likely for different reasons, but in the end, disease non-the-less.
To test a food, think of it like this. Isolate a diet of just that food. Make sure the food is from the source it was meant to be from and determine if it could sustain life over a long-term. For most humans, the answer is either yes or no. Over time, our species has been able to adapt to this type of situation many times and either thrive or falter. This is very simplistic, but the idea of it is a pretty solid way to determine how to grade a certain isolated food. -

No need to justify things to me...if it increases your confidence...so be it.BR1986FB;1144658 wrote::laugh:

Pretty sad, don't ya think? Only a 28 lb weight loss in 67 days? You need to work harder. :rolleyes:OSH;1134243 wrote:I haven't given an update for quite some time...sorry. I know everyone was probably wondering...
I am 77 days (78 in a few hours when I wake up) into the 4-Hour Body lifestyle change. On day 67, I hit the 28 pound weight loss mark.
I am pretty excited about being as low as I am. I haven't been here in over 5 years, no doubt about that. I have had about 4 days of exercise -- wish it was a bit more. I will hopefully get more kettlebell swings in once my dad makes me one. I'd also like to pick up a couple of ab exercises. I'll get around to it, hopefully after Easter.
Things are going well with it. I made some almond-crusted chicken nuggets on Thursday night...delicious! I've also lost around 5+ inches to my belly area and over an inch around the widest part of my hips. I am back into the blue jeans I used to always wear. My dress pants have plenty of extra room in them now, as well. I feel like the hip area is definitely lost more than an inch because of the way the jeans fit, I have way more room than I am used to.
Maybe with changing up the routine a bit, I'll get down another 5-10...which I wouldn't be disappointed in.
See how stupid you look, now? This is supposed to be a "help" thread, not a "bash" thread. You get on here talking shit to someone you know nothing about. Someone who is probably anywhere from 10-20 years older than you (based on this sites demographics) who you likely could keep up with in a weight room.
Nice try...can we get back to paleo? -

Do you push high one way and low the other?BR1986FB;1144658 wrote::laugh:

I just went high this time. Trying to get acclimated to the thing. I need to find a different surface to push it on because that alley is wet/semi muddy gravel. I'd get up a good head of steam pushing it and then I'd hit a soft spot (of mud) and almost come to a dead stop.Raw Dawgin' it;1145011 wrote:Do you push high one way and low the other?
I was thinking about pushing it (Thursday) in either the street or over in the parking lot at the local middle school. Just don't know if the sleds/skis on the bottom of it will tear up the parking lot. Plus I don't necessarily want to pack up all of that stuff every time I want to use it.
Once I get used to it I will start using the low attachment. Pretty cool toy. I'd recommend it as a conditioning tool for anyone who can get one. -

Next time I'll make sure I put extra smileys in there for you. Especially since I have yet to really "bash" anyone on this forum -- only one idiot that everyone cannot stand.
And I wouldn't have minded losing a little more of the weight...but I don't think 28 pounds is bad only from a change in what I eat. Definitely was needed. -

And I was joking about your weight loss too. Any "loss" is a GOOD loss. Well done...OSH;1145017 wrote:Settle down dude. Can't you take a little joke?

dlazzYesterday I had 12 wings from BW3's and a chocolate malt for dinner.

How were the chickens raised and how were the wings cooked? And if the chocolate malt used 85% dark chocolate and coconut milk you're good to go!dlazz;1145039 wrote:Yesterday I had 12 wings from BW3's and a chocolate malt for dinner. -

Azubuike24Been doing Jack Kruse's cold thermogenesis 5 days a week for a little bit now. It's amazing. What's shocking to me is how unreactive I am to the cold now. Getting into a tub of 50-degree water with ice floating around doesn't even panic the body that much, compared to someone who does it on day one their heart will start to race. Seen strength increase in pull-ups, handstand push-ups and energy metabolism is amazing. MCT oil with a protein shake or coffee while in the tub really helps keep some of the heat inside while the outside skin really freezes. Recovery has been amazing too. Had a partially torn MCL that I've been dealing with and didn't want to have surgery on, but swelled up anytime I squatted or sprinted. It's pretty much a non-factor anymore. Have strictly used Kettle bells for cardio, outside of hiking, walking, basketball and softball recreationally.
Long post, I know. However, anyone wanting to do something new, TRY THIS! -
BR1986FBGood stuff...although he is pimping his site with the last one.

OneBuckeyeI finally started taking fish oil. I was holding out for the good stuff, but was always too cheap to buy it. Hard to tell if it will make a differnce for awhile. I'm most interested in how it with effect my cholesterol levels.

My last check I was like 210 total with 55 HDL 10 months after primal. That was down from 220+ and 45 HDL before primal.
