    And yes you work out 5-6 days a week, my point is if you want to get a caveman workout, hop the fence at the tiger cage at the Cincinnati Zoo and run like a real caveman. That will show you that the Pilates you do almost every day aren't a suitable work out. For a caveman at least.

    Bottom line, this lifestyle works for A LOT of people and it is interesting to me. Why not see if it works for me? I'm already in good shape, why not switch it up and see if I can get in better shape?

    How is this different than just having a healthy diet? Lean meats, fish, veggies, and fruits are the staples of eating healthy in the first place. Basically just seems like a marketing ploy by calling it "Paleo".

    Yes, this is relatively close to how I was already eating. There are a few changes I am trying out to see if the results are as good as many, many people have claimed. Guess what, if it doesn't work out as great as I'm expecting I'm not out anything but at the same time I've added some new recipes to our rotation. Win win.

    I am doing my own variation of it. I don't get as complicated as some of the recipes. It has worked very well as I have lost 26 pounds since starting in January. I have done P90x along with the diet. My typical foods are below.

    Baked Chicken breast rubbed in olive oil or coconut oil 250 for 90 or less minutes
    Baked Sweet Potatoes - Not technically Paleo but this is one of my deviations, I don't eat every day.
    Raw Carrots – lots of them
    Ham, sometimes I spread almond butter on a thick slice and eat it cold or just heat it up
    Steak - Usually T-Bone, I don't spring for the expensive grass feed stuff, I get TBones and Rib eyes for free from the family farm
    Lean Hamburger - Same as above
    Asparagus
    Almonds, Hazelnuts
    Paleo bars - go to www.paleoplan.com check their sample recipes and they have a recipe for paleo candy bars. Good stuff.
    Egg Whites + Protein (usually shrimp or Ham) in the morning
    Spinach Salads with oil and vinegar dressing usually with eggs or egg whites and some type of protein

    I am often torn on the idea of carrots, I try to avoid starch veggies but know how good carrots are for you. I have the same dilemma with bananas.

    I don't eat bananas, but baby carrots are so cheap,easy and taste good, plus I don't like many veggies so I eat them. Before starting my veggies consisted of corn and legumes, so I had to change how I ate that.
