BR1986FBSee, that's the thing with Paleo/Primal...less is more. With the way you are now eating, you don't need to put in NEARLY as much work in the gym to get toward that 6 pack. The eating does the work for you. I've found out through a lot of research that the old adage of "calories in vs calories" out isn't necessarily true. I work out LESS and am getting BETTER results.

This is true. I really haven't done much the past few weeks after stopping Insanity because of a shoulder injury and I'm still seeing results. I'm sure once I start golfing this summer (Primal Law #3 - move frequently at a slow pace) that I'll really start seeing some good results. -

There are no "portions" with Paleo/Primal. You eat until your body says "full." The macro breakdrown in P90X's nutrition plan ranges from 50/30/20 (protein/carb/fat) to 60/20/20 (carb/protein/fat). In Paleo your fat content is typically in excess of 50%. The body doesn't need as many carbs as we've been programmed, especially PROCESSED carbs. pinstriperYeah, I never went on to the 3rd phase, just stayed at phase 2 throughout. I"m sticking with phase 1 for as long as i can now, which is a fat burning phase, high protein - low low low carb.

I've dropped some cardio. My only cardio now is 20 minutes of interval sprints (walk a minute, sprint a minute, repeat) and a 30 minute brisk paced walk on the treadmill. Otherwise it's 4 Crossfit type workouts that are lasting between 15-30 minutes. -

Do you buy yours in bulk, BR? If so, how much do you pay per pound if you don't mind me asking? I've found a couple farms in Ohio that strictly deal in grass-fed beef and the best I've found was $3.49/lb for a whole, $3.99/lb for a half.
Heard back from him and there are 3 that'll be ready in September. $2.35/lb. Outstanding. -

BR1986FB$2.35 is the lowest I've heard for grassfed unless, as you guys implied, you have your own cow. That is just awesome. I haven't seen it under $3.

$3.49/lb is the cheapest I've found for buying a whole beef. The $2.35 price was from my uncle, I bet I can sweet talk my grandma into cheaper. -
