Am I a minority of one hoping I'm wrong but thinking Samuel won't piss a drop at the next level?

RBs are a crap shoot in the NFL. No idea if he pans out but some team will draft and pay him.

My initial thought/comparison is poor man's Darren Sproles. I could be way off, but I see same skill set.

As for Noah Brown...he may pan out, but I don't see that happening for 3-4 years.

Looks like Ed Wariner might be headed to Minnesota to be Fleck's OC.

If it's true, which who knows if it is, then it explains why the hiring of Wilson is taking so long.

Appears that Eric Glover-Williams is moving to WR.

    Not so fast my friend...

Also, Wilson showed up in the staff directory today.

Either this is the worst kept secret in the world...or things with the other coaches leaving aren't exactly going as planned. This seems like a cart before the horse scenario here.

I don't care what the other coaches are doing as long as Wilson is in charge of the offense and fixes the abysmal situation that the OSU passing game has become.

Needed him too. Our secondary was going to be young (and thin). He should get PT right away.

    Wilson is official.

And per Pete Thamel from SI, Wariner will be named OLine coach at Minnesota.

So does this make OSU good now on coaches? Or does someone else need to go/change positions?

With Wariner gone, I think they are back to 9.

Oof...5* Tyjon Lindsey decommits. Leaving Grimes the only WR in the class

I was surprised when he committed to the Buckeyes. I thought for sure he would be at Nebraska.

I don't get it, why Nebraska though?!? They haven't been relevant since the 90's. They were in the mix for all of these Cali-kids at the Army Game, and didn't get a 1.

lack of competition at that position=immediate playing time maybe?

True. Sadly, he may have been able to step right in at OSU though too with our lack of true WR currently.

He won't play as a Freshman at OSU but will likely be Nebraska's best player and will start.

Ohio State is stacked at WR and has more talent coming in every year. Long story short, he doesn't want to compete.

I guess we see it differently. I don't see OSU as "stacked". I see some athletes who they're trying to turn into WR. Only real WR I've seen is Victor. Hopeful for Mack. They need to learn how to run routes and our coaches need to learn how to coach them/come up with effective routes. I think he could have came in and contributed as a Freshman.

I don't think the Lindsey deal is over yet. Pretty sure that Urban is gonna try to get him back.

Pretty shocked that he thinks Nebraska is the answer to this. They must have been selling him hard on OSU's offensive struggles and immediate playing time.

We will have 10 WR on the roster next year. 7 of those guys are 4* or higher recruits.

That doesn't include EGW moving to WR or the potential of Gibson to return and play WR. It also doesn't include ATH converting to WR. Sorry, but "stacked" was being conservative.
