    Cuse out of the #1 possibility
  • reclegend22
    So Wisconsin and Duke remain. If either wins its conference tournament, I think the No. 1 goes to one of them. Since the committee will certainly take the 1 p.m. ACC title game into account (not sure about the Big Ten game at 4 p.m.), Duke pretty much controls its own destiny.

    That said, I have a strong feeling Duke goes down tonight or tomorrow. State looks like a Cinderella.

    What if Louisville wins their tourney?

    They will probably move into a 2 seed because everyone else keeps on losing. But they just dont play enough tough teams, and lost most of ones they did play. They seem like a 3 seed to me.

    I know....but they seem to be peaking, have the star coach and star player, defending champs.....

    Dumb foul by Jefferson. SMH
  • Ironman92
    Hood silky.

    Clemson ample time for a good shot.
  • Ironman92
    I don't guard the inbounds ....make them catch it 60 feet away

    Risky play by Dawkins, but looks like he got all ball on that second angle.

    Duke surrenders yet another double-digit second half lead, this time escaping with a win. At ND, at Clemson and at UNC, the Blue Devils didn't survive such a collapse, and barely did in Cameron against Virginia, Maryland and UNC.

    Duke could easily have 12 losses this season and probably should. I applaud that defensive stand on Clemson's last game-deciding possession, but the Devils better get their asses in gear real quick. N.C. State will not be fucking around tomorrow.

    Duke by 22

    Or lose by 7

    Duke will need to knock down some outside shots today if they want to advance. It'd be nice if Dawkins could knock down a few, it seems he hasn't hit a shot since January. They just looked terrible offensively last night. It wasn't pretty but like tOSU fans will tell ya, it doesn't have to be.

    I disagree. I think UL is certainly in play for a #1 seed as much as Duke and Wisky. They are steamrolling lately and playing as well as anyone.

    Duke has looked terrible offensively -- at least from beyond the arc -- for the last six games. They are shooting abysmally as a team.

    Duke 3-Point Field Goal Shooting

    @UNC: 5-22
    Syracuse: 7-21
    Virginia Tech: 10-33
    @Wake Forest: 6-27
    UNC: 8-23
    Clemson: 3-13

    Andre Dawkins: 3-19

    That must change today or Duke is going down. N.C. State will be playing for its life today. Win and the Pack is in the Big Dance. Lose and they are going home. Duke has struggled in recent history with similar N.C. State teams who have their backs against the wall. Unless Duke shoots lights out, this one is going to the wire.

    They have steam rolled programs that were good in the 1970s. Let's examine how Louisville performances against UConn first before we start throwing one seed out there.

    Sorry, but they might be less deserving than Villanova.

    Wtih a little help from the refs, no doubt.

    I want that to be a missed call as well, but rewind that picture about 10 frames and you see it was all ball. The followthrough got the arm, but that was a great play.

    At the point of this picture, its a loose ball, and thats not a foul.

    Then what do you call the foul called about 8 seconds before the no call above? The Duke player drove the land and fell over on his own, got the whistle.

    That stuff is all wonderful. But its not the end all when it comes to seeding. We all know this. Just sayin...UL, the defending champions, are in the discussion.

    RPI might have a good bit of change after conf tourney
