BCS talk

These last 200 posts of debating proves just one thing.

Not having some sort of playoff is insane.

By losing 2 games by 20+ points an not beating a ranked team all season. Seems pretty obvious lol.

The ACC gets 2 BCS bowl bids? That's more ridiculous than an SEC rematch.

TCU apparently didn't make BCS top 16 so no auto bid. Arkansas, South Carolina, and Michigan State are ineligible due to 2 team rule.

It was basically VT, Kansas State, or Boise State. At that point, it's $$$.

The BCS is so stupid and corrupt. I hate that $ decides everything.

When the other options are Boise, Kansas St, maybe Baylor it's not surprising. It's not like they were beating top 10 teams. Same with Michigan.

Your BCS lineup will be: Title: LSU-Bama. Rose: Wis-Ore. Fiesta: Ok St-Stanford. Sugar: Va Tech-Michigan. Orange: Clemson-West Va.

If this is the matchups, it is horrid. Especially the Sugar and Orange bowls. Not even worth watching.

Speaking of not watching, looks at though that is the only way to fix the BCS is to boycott College football.

What is the reasoning (or lack thereof) of selecting Michigan over Michigan St who won their side of the Big Ten and actually made it to the Big Ten championship game?

With that lack of reasoning skill by the BCS then by all means Notre Dame is being robbed.
  • Crimson streak
You have to be in the top 14 to get an at large bid. If notre dame was at 14 they would get selected but there not obviously

Both games will be sold out though. Clemson has been waiting for a BCS game for a long time, already have my tix. Plus WVU has a ton of fans. VT always travels well, and Michigan fans will also be happy to be there.

Notre Dame isn't eligible to be picked, or they would have been the first pick.

If one more computer would have had Oklahoma State at #2 then they would have been playing for the national championship.

Supposedly, there's no proof of him saying that.

I do love this coaching matchup. It is a matchup of maybe the worst ingame coach ever(hell of a recruiter) vs a lying snake in Saban.

You don't know the answer to that question? I mean, if he was the person responsible for creating the BCS or selecting the teams who play in the championship, you'd have a big conspiracy theory going for you. Why the fuck would a coach not change his opinion if it benefits his team?
