Do you guys think Goodell should do something to punish his players for shit like this coming out?

    definitely not

Agree. It's not his or the NFL's issue.

You're a good poster when you stick to talking about football, but, as of late, you are acting like sleeper and the others.

    Dude c'mon. Dynasty...ok. Sleeper? That's harsh!

I'm done. Back to the topic.

Dan Wetzel this morning says that the NCAA actually has much more than what the public knows, and that Yahoo only printed what they could corroborate. Says he feels sorry for Miami fans, and that's it's going to get even worse.

The NFL would have no authority to punish a player coming into the league unless the NCAA and NFL struck some kind of deal where "show cause" actions issued against players and coaches would be honored by the NFL.

Actually, I'd love to see something like that, because it would really make players and coaches think twice about cheating in college if they know it will keep them from earning a living (for a while) at the next level.

If an NCAA coach who got a year-long show cause for cheating couldn't just run off to the NFL (cough, cough Petey) right away, maybe they'd be more active in policing their players. And players with NFL futures might also think twice about taking risks as well.

He feels sorry for Miami fans? He was a smug asshole on dan Patrick show basically guaranteeing more would come from his allegations against Ohio State. Journalism is dead.

Lack of authority or reason has never stopped Goodell before

I feel sorry for them too. How can you cheat that much and have nothing to show for it!? :)

What they could do is tell Disney that they don't want to hear "The U" anymore in televised player introductions. They can't stop what happened in the past, but they can keep the goons from "representin" in the NFL's product.

You clearly trolled on this thread, yet your trolling was saying how this criminal (Shapiro, a white collar criminal, with all of the proof in the world) wasn't any different than in the OSU case (street rats with no proof).

And what does someone else's trolling have anything to do with yours? You really are stupid. Holy crap. I can't comprehend that you actually believe the things you typed.

    Dude, we've moved on.

P.S. I did not say the criminals weren't different. The point went over your head apparently.

I'm done with it. But that whole back and forth was as bad as anything I've ever seen from thedynasty, Jordo, ty/gibby, and yes, sometimes even sleeper (with the whole lack of using logic).

Only because you didn't understand the point. You were too worried about me trolling.

"His word isn't worth squat especially if Yahoo paid him for the exclusive."

Uncle Luke must have missed the word that there are multiple sources, including ex-players, that back the word that isn't worth squat.

So what was your point? That's somehow we're supposed to take street rats with no proof's statements just as factually as a white collar criminal with more proof than could possibly ever be needed?
