No no, the out of state is much higher at UM, i was just stating that it is also high at OSU and that I would bet he is getting something for academics or somewhere. My cuz was going to go to Florida State to play baseball before he got drafted by the Brewers and baseball can only pay 75% and even though he got like a 2.0 (if he was lucky) they filled the other 25% with an academic scholarship. I do not feel bad saying this as he never went to college lol.

If you have a pulse you could probably receive an offer by Michigan this year and with the ridiculous talent in Ohio, Hoke will get some of it. There will probably be some OSU fans freak out about some in state talent going up north but there is no way we can take them all let alone some kids we will end up getting from florida and other states.

Ringer is pissed at tOSU for lack of an offer, I think that ship has sailed for OSU already. We are only looking for 1 more LB. Josh Perry has something to say about best LB in Ohio as well. As for Diamond, Michigan got an in by getting his teamate last year that OSU didn't offer. Wormley and his family grew up huge UM fans, if Hoke can't get him, he is no better than RR. LB James Ross I would love to have at OSU time will tell on that one.

Ringer is most deffinetly pissed off about not getting an OSU offer but i'm not sure it's necessarily the lack of an offer as opposed to how OSU treated him. Evidently when Ringer asked why they havent offered him they wouldn't give him a straight answer and gave him the run around instead of being upfront with him. Bo made a living off of kid's like Kalob Ringer who were high level talent who wanted OSU but got jilted and instead went to Ann Arbor with a massive chip on their shoulder for OSU.

Hoke will figure it out, this is the way he had to do it at SDSU, throw out a bunch of feelers and hope you get some interest. Not a bad method but I have a feeling this is the last year you will see it happen. As long as he can be successful in state and in northern Ohio they will have more than needed.

Looks like Michigan offered Jonah Pirsig from Blue Earth, MN yesterday. He has everyone and his brother knocking at his door (Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Auburn). Will be interesting to follow his recruitment.
  • mrtinkertrain
Pirsig is a longshot but why not try? lol

I can't wait for Jordan Diamond to committ he's going to be a monster at OT.

Ohio has in-state tuition? Ha you wouldn't guess by looking at how insane it costs...that's why it's worth it just to go OOS and claim in-state residency after a year

A guy who attended practice said that the attitude and atmosphere is much different than RR. RR and staff did more negative coaching, where Hoke and staff are very positive. He said the kids are responding very well, as you can imagine.

Hopefully they are much improved and make it "The Game" again....

I have a feeling the game will return to what it once was, even if it's not quite this year.

The Big Ten does not need Michigan to be relevant. Wisconsin, Penn State, Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska and Ohio State are more than sufficient.

Ray Vinopal is not returning to the team this fall. Wants to be closer to family. Not a loss to the team, but sounds like he had family issues to deal with. Wish the kid luck.

Michigan got their first 2012 commitment in Michigan OL Ben Braden.

This is going to be the best class Michigan has had in a long time when all is said and done. IMO

It will be for a lot of people, 2012 is loaded in Ohio and a lot of other states too. How many Ships does UM have this year?
  • WebFire
Loaded class for Michigan as well. I don't remember the last ship count. I'll look it up later.

Looks like he's hitting the defensive side pretty hard...and rightfully so!

Michigan got commit number 2 last night from Cincinatti Oak Hills OG Caleb Stacey a 6'4 280 pounder with offers from West Virginia, Boston College, Wake Forest, North Carolina St, Illinois and Indiana along with pretty much all of the MAC.

It's a perfect storm for Brady to hit Ohio and roll out with a half-dozen studs.

    Game on again.

they may not need UM to be relevant, but it definitely helps the Big Ten's prowess.
