Disgusted with Trump administration - Part I

You don't go from full blown libertarian, to more socialism in the span of one day after an election. I would be more inclined to believe you if you slowly changed your views since 2012, but you didn't and we all know you didn't. You know as well as we all do (inlucding those who share your fake views) that you are full of shit. As I said again, grow up.sleeper;1853202 wrote:I have already explained my position many times. Sorry you didn't read it.
The reality is, I try to maintain objectivity and remain unbiased to any idea. The fact that adjusting my opinions to reality is seen as "an act" is really quite telling to the current political discourse. We should always be adjusting our position to align to reality instead of toeing the party line like a team sport.
But anyways, please continue your personal crusade and distract from the main issues facing our country. Dare I say, "complicit".
As for being "complicit" ( the trendy buzzword you chose for your current act), you had a chance to vote in the primary to prevent Trump from being the candidate. All of us outside of probably ccrunner and quacker voted against Trump. Why didn't you do anything? Based on sleeper logic you either didn't vote in the primary to wash your hands of any responsibility or you are complicit. Which one is it? -

It absolutely does. It would alert ISIS that there is current surveillance in that city and put them on high alert to figure out the source of that intel. This will cost lives, undermine intelligence sharing with allies, and reduce the ability of the United States to gather intel to protect the country and our allies.iclfan2;1853209 wrote:Such as? Telling Russia the city where ISIS is making laptop bombs does not harm us. It may hurt our allegiance with whatever group gathered that intel, and EVERYONE AGREES HE'S A FUCKING MORON IF HE DID, but it still isn't impeachable. Keep pretending conservatives condone actions that is obviously false.
And yes, the GOP does condone these actions. The GOP is the controlling party in Congress and through the direction of their constituents refuse to hold anyone in the Trump administration accountable. The GOP, and its base, continues to support these actions that hard the United States. When is the GOP going to start choosing country over party? -

This isn't a debate. I am in sole possession of my own opinions. This is like you telling me "You don't like the color red, you like the color green" and me telling you "I like the color red". This isn't a debate; sorry you are unable to form a logical counter argument to reality.like_that;1853212 wrote:You don't go from full blown libertarian, to more socialism in the span of one day after an election. I voted for HRC. I have called my Senators and Congressmen about the issues that concern me(they happen to all be Democrats and they agree with me). Democrats in Congress are willing to hold the President accountable and the reality is the GOP remains complicit in their support of this President and his actions. -

Except it wasn't Russia. It was a DNC insider named Seth Rich who sent 44,000 emails to Wikileaks. He is dead now.ptown_trojans_1;1853195 wrote:One, I am not a liberal. Maybe, compared to some of the crazy yahoos on here I am.
Two, those are completely different things.
The DNC Hack was a foreign government, Russia, hacking a political party and using Wikileaks to post the information. The news out of the White House is your normal leaking that happens at every White House with people. Sure, the White House should tighten up their own ship, but it not outside the norm. We had White House people leaking under Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, etc. It's DC and this is the swamp. Trump wants to drain the swamp, seems like he should start with his own White House first. Again, some of these stories have 20-30 sources. -

I'm not defending anything. I'm pointing out that you're making shit up that wasn't even said. You're obviously reading something into Trump's tweet this morning that you wish he'd said, other than what he actually did say.sleeper;1853208 wrote:No response to Trump now contradicting McMaster's comments? McMaster "It didn't happen" and now Trump "I have a right to do so".
Laughable that you will now try to defend both of them. Complicit.
He said he shared facts related to airline safety and terrorism. The sharing of classified intel was not mentioned.
As iclfan2 states above...even if he did it, it's at worst another in a long list of dumb moves. Certainly nothing worth you having yet another meltdown over. -

Why would Russia tell ISIS where this happened/ what happened? They are against ISIS too. And don't you think when a laptop ban started being talked about that they knew they had been outed?sleeper;1853213 wrote:It absolutely does. The only thing this does is piss off the country that gave us the intel, rightfully so if true. And that still makes Trump a jackass. But spare me the hyperbole.

Evidence that Russia is an ally? They are supporting the Syrian Dictator using gas against his own people. This is someone you want to share sensitive intel with? This is what you are supporting and condoning by accepting Donald sharing intel with the Russians.iclfan2;1853219 wrote:Why would Russia tell ISIS where this happened/ what happened? White House officials: "No he didn't."
Russia: "Trump did not share secrets."
Trump: "Yes I did." -

Can you read? Not once did I say he should be sharing intel with Russia. No one is supporting or condoning it. You are delusional. I said he's a jackass for doing so. Pointing out your hyperbole calling for impeachment and treason isn't supporting anything.sleeper;1853225 wrote:Evidence that Russia is an ally? iclfan2Also never said Russia was an ally. I said they are against ISIS. And yea, they're relationship in Syria is why we shouldn't be sharing anything with them. No one condones this except in your fantasy world.

Con_AlmaThe real concern is other "allies" not being so forthcoming with shared intelligence should they have concerns that it may then possibly be made available to Russia.

Exactly and it's already happening. The GOP is not concerned with this but people will still vote for them.Con_Alma;1853246 wrote:The real concern is other "allies" not being so forthcoming with shared intelligence should they have concerns that it may then possibly be made available to Russia. -

It's a little more than "just being a jackass"; it's treason and he needs to be removed from office before more damage is done.iclfan2;1853230 wrote:Can you read? And yes, the GOP does support and condone these actions by inaction. Sorry you don't like it, try voting differently! -

The GOP does condone this. They could stop this tomorrow if they wanted but they condone and support these actions.iclfan2;1853232 wrote:Also never said Russia was an ally. Because for as much as you want to say it, it isn't treason or a reason to impeach. Stupid as fuck, yes, but he's technically allowed to share information if he wants. What grounds would impeachment be?sleeper;1853259 wrote:Then why is the GOP not calling for an impeachment?
And I'd rather have Pence as president. Trump was a product of Hilary. I thought he was an idiot during the election and obviously still do. I did not vote for him in the primary.

Sharing sensitive intel to an adversary is not a reason to impeach? Harming the SAFETY of the United States and its allies is not a reason to impeach? Damaging intelligence community relationships with key allies is not a reason to impeach?iclfan2;1853263 wrote:Because for as much as you want to say it, it isn't treason or a reason to impeach. gosh a ruddies. As a Bernie supporter, Hillary was hardly a perfect candidate but Donald Trump revealed himself to be self serving, bigoted, incompetent and tempermentally unsuited for the Presidency to any decent human being who was not a moron.iclfan2;1853206 wrote:Putting up HRC as the dem candidate is how this was inflicted upon our nation.
