Disgusted with Trump administration - Part I

Heretic
I think anyone with a brain probably can tell there's a pretty big difference between key national positions that may involve matters of national security and random middle-management drones at a random company. IF a person you place in one of these positions turns out to be a moron, that's on you for bringing in a moron and yes, they probably should be replaced. Hiring and firing people "just to change things up", like you said, is absolutely stupid, though, when you consider the importance of some of these positions.Azubuike24;1837603 wrote:Does it? That's an opinion, at best. I'm not a politician, but it doesn't seem logical to go the other way and keep morons around who are only there because they have given you money, done you favors or will only do exactly what they are told. If you fuck up (or the boss just wants a change of culture or feel), you're gone. -

He's holding a political rally in Florida on Saturday. The President, 3 years away from the next election train, is holding a political rally in Florida.Azubuike24;1837605 wrote:...and I do agree with you, if Trump doesn't become more transparent and give details on what he plans to ACTUALLY do, over a year, 4 years, 8 years, etc...he's going to slowly keep losing faith. If he doesn't shift away from "rah rah" rhetoric to real content, he's going to keep losing favor. The biggest complaint from the portion of the left with open minds is that they aren't really clear what they are giving a chance.
Absolute joke. -
Azubuike24You're point only makes sense if you trust the initial people you put in. Maybe, just maybe, there are guys he's using to gain ground, but ultimately doesn't trust because they are planning to back stab him (Priebus, Ryan, Spicer, Flynn, etc...). The real success there would be cutting them out BEFORE they do the damage.
Lets be real, if Trump just nominated an entire staff of non-career politicians (which it would probably take to guarantee there aren't any traitors), he would've been crucified. That's the status quo. Instead, he's forced to name some of these GOP enemies to these positions right away to attempt to keep some peace as he settles into office.
It's exactly what's wrong with politics. The barrier to entry is so high (both financially and publicly), it creates this elite club of people who are mostly corrupt, bought and sold regardless of political party. Trump winning was a direct contrary to this, and it's why people are so PISSED on both sides. -

Obama clearly said that voting rolls would not be turned over to immigration officials when asked a really convoluted question about illegals voting. The surface meaning was that you don't have to fear voting if you have illegal family members. The underlying meaning varies depending on where you fall politically.Heretic;1837596 wrote:Lol, no. Unless you're part of the CC/QQ club that considers what they want to believe to be true and what they don't want to believe to be fake.

Azubuike24Just as he never encouraged illegal immigration, but the enforcement of our current rules became so lax, they were almost non-existent.
All of the sudden, a new sheriff comes to town and says we're enforcing it to a T...and people freak the fuck out. -

Why? They all voted for the loser. -

Or they all voted for the winner? Where is your evidence?QuakerOats;1837616 wrote:Why? They all voted for the loser. -

Do not post from Fox, or any news source.
I provided a study by a university professor which indicated at least 800,000 illicit votes. When you factor in that California is an honor system - LOL - you can easily get to 2-3 million. In my podunk Ohio county alone, just one person was charged with 45 counts of vote fraud; that's one person, in one small county. So the reality in the large, urban, heavy democrat counties is that there is an awful lot of illicit votes being cast. To think that a liberal AG in California is going to raise a finger to investigate it or admit to it is laughable. -

No, those were the votes that came in from the Moscow precincts. -

All of the AGs have refuted the story.
You are just speculating out your ass.

You weren't more embarrassed when we started a war that has killed thousands of Americans and millions of others, including thousands of innocent people and costs trillions. You aren't embarrassed when our previous president authorized countless drone strikes that killed innocent people. Or embarrassed that our country spies on it's own citizens.sleeper;1837601 wrote:Anyone watch his press conference today? Simply embarrassing.

Absolute joke. I've never been more embarrassed to be an American.
But you are right, Trump press conferences top all that.

Did someone say anything about making *NATO something that it isn't now??? If so, I missed it because I didn't say it should be something else.sleeper;1837581 wrote:No, I'm cool with keeping NATO how it is. Does it really matter if Lithuania spend an extra $10k on military equipment? The US gets the biggest benefit out of NATO by far. It's mostly a US stability treaty for Europe.
But go on; keep crying about Lithuania.
No crying here about Lithuania. -
