You know how to not need abortions? Don't be a whore. Don't have sex unless you are responsible for the consequences. But apparently that's too much to ask from people.sleeper;1836729 wrote:Ah yes free shit. Health care for low income women for free. Really need to take that away because we don't like that they also provide safe abortions for women instead of a hanger in the back alley.
We will not go back.

Its illegal to federal funds to pay for abortion. However, since cash is portable and fungible there's really no way to stop them is there?sleeper;1836707 wrote:2. It is illegal to for government funds to pay for abortions. It has been that way since 1976. This is a misinformation campaign from the right to defund a low income women's health provider that is statically proven to LOWER abortions nationally.
Remember, when you say "Defund Planned Parenthood" you are actively advocating for an increase in abortions. -

Patient receives medical care and bills the government for reimbursement. If medical care is abortion, no reimbursement is requested.superman;1836762 wrote:Its illegal to federal funds to pay for abortion. However, since cash is portable and fungible there's really no way to stop them is there?
Not hard. -

Well then perhaps support funding Planned Parenthood who provides FREE birth control to low income women and LOWERS abortions.iclfan2;1836760 wrote:You know how to not need abortions? Using the most absurd situations is a dumb argument. Only crazy people think rape victims shouldn't be allowed to have abortions.wildcats20;1836761 wrote:Yes those rape victims are true whores.

Planned parenthood is way down the list of stupid things the government spends money on. I don't care that they are funded, there are way worse things being funded. I'm just annoyed that this country is full of idiots who never have to deal with the consequences of their shitty actions.sleeper;1836766 wrote:Well then perhaps support funding Planned Parenthood who provides FREE birth control to low income women and LOWERS abortions.

Calling women whores is a dumb argument. -
iclfan2Obviously rape isn't absurd, I'm saying that .0001% of the time that abortion is used. You can't make an argument for or against something based on the most extreme uses. And like I said, no normal person who is against abortion as birth control thinks a raped person shouldn't be allowed an abortion.

Constantly using rape as the reason why abortions must be funded is a bit absurd too.wildcats20;1836769 wrote:Rape is not absurd.

We can't have a conversation if everyone wants to treat extremes like the norm. This is for all issues.

CenterBHSFanI wonder if people are noting the differences between federal funding and state funding?

Both are taxpayer monies, however.

While I agree - entirely - with that article....Trump is NOT a conservative, so therefore you can't argue he's not a fascist.HitsRus;1836831 wrote:Hail Trump?... I don't think so.

But the correct description of Trump would be economic nationalist. -
HitsRus^^^that's reasonable.
I just think it's funny that the other side calls him "Fascist"...which, at best, is the pot calling the kettle black. -

They ARE fascists...and what scares them most about Trump, actually, is losing power. -

Good to know your views on women. Hope you share that with your wife; I'm sure she would love to know that you think pregnancy is a shitty action. -

Instead, he issued far more 'presidential memoranda', which carry the same weight as executive orders; they just are not numbered. He was a sly fox.Heretic;1836719 wrote:These are the people that whined about Obama using executive orders while ignoring how he used them with less frequency than any other president in recent decades. -
Heretic
It took two minutes of researching to find out that claims of him having the most presidential memorandums were questionable because data only tracks the ones that get published in the Federal Registar, so the only thing that can be proven for sure is that Obama was having his published. Which doesn't exactly say anything about who actually issued the most. With the fun fact added that the person who did the research for the USA Today article citing he had the most memorandums was the one that said that USA Today mis-applied said research to make an inaccurate comment.QuakerOats;1836919 wrote:Instead, he issued far more 'presidential memoranda', which carry the same weight as executive orders; they just are not numbered. Now, that leads to the question of exactly how it is a president can issue these things and not have them be published in the Registar, leading to there not being an actual accurate knowledge of who made how many, which is a mystery. -

Simply incomprehensible. This man gives no fucks about national security after railing HRC for her mishandled servers. When are the impeachment proceedings?According to a remarkable CNN report, President Trump was eating dinner with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at his private Mar-a-Lago club on Saturday evening when he received a call on his mobile phone informing him that North Korea had tested an intermediate-range ballistic missile. The ensuing scene illustrated some of the problems involved in Trump treating a $200,000-per-membership private club as his “winter White House.”
Trump and Abe were seated in the middle of the club’s dining room, allowing members of the club to gawk as the two heads of state grappled with matters of war and peace.
“As Mar-a-Lago’s wealthy members looked on from their tables, and with a keyboard player crooning in the background, Trump and Abe’s evening meal quickly morphed into a strategy session, the decision-making on full view to fellow diners, who described it in detail to CNN,” Kevin Liptak of CNN wrote.
But White House strategist Steve Bannon and National Security Adviser Michael Flynn were sitting elsewhere in the dimly-lit dining area, so they had to huddle closer to Trump while he tried to deal with an international crisis.
“The patio was lit only with candles and moonlight, so aides used the camera lights on their phones to help the stone-faced Trump and Abe read through the documents,” CNN reports. “Even as a flurry of advisers and translators descended upon the table carrying papers and phones for their bosses to consult, dinner itself proceeded apace. Waiters cleared the wedge salads and brought along the main course as Trump and Abe continued consulting with aides.”
In other words, Trump — who made Hillary Clinton’s email security the centerpiece of his presidential campaign — discussed sensitive national security matters in front of waiters and diners who were later able to describe the scene “in detail” to reporters. -

The NSA is withholding information from Trump because they fear security leaks to Russia.A website that until very recently was published by Donald Trump's son-in-law has claimed that US spies are withholding their most sensitive intelligence from the White House.
For the past three weeks, according to a former National Security Agency (NSA) analyst and counter-intelligence officer, some the America's spy agencies have begun withholding intelligence from the Oval Office amid fears "the Kremlin has ears inside" the White House situation room.
The claims follow reports that National Security Adviser Michael Flynn discussed lifting sanctions against Moscow with a Russian diplomat before Mr Trump took office.
Where is Congress? When are Republicans going to grow a spine and launch an investigation?

ptown_trojans_1I'm not 100% sure of the Flynn stories, but either way, man, oh man, it does not look good.
If Trump is really a great businessman, his execution of establishing a structure and actual administration has been a shit show. I know he is not a politician, but still, the amount of leaks and dirt being thrown out on a daily basis is just insane.
Sure every administration has slow starts and bumps, but geesh. It seems like every day there is a story from one anonymous senior admin official spilling dirt on another one. This is not the press going after Trump, it is his own inside people, most likely losing out on policy arguments.
I thought Trump was going to pick the best people? So, far, it is a shit show and circus.
