  Made a liberal cry last night because she argues like a liberal. "Show me where pro-choice people weren't invited to the women's march", ok here's 10 links. Next argument. People get so caught up on dumbass social issues that they miss the big picture of what the government should and shouldn't be in control of.   There definitely is something to the broader progressive movement giving an outsized voice to the grievance caucus that creates an environment wherein otherwise rational people were willing to turn to a complete buffoon.
  
  Democrats must accept some responsibility for the failure of their political messaging. I an just look at the great post from after the election from CenterBHSFan - we're now the party of "just more welfare" and bathroom choice as opposed to, say, JFK's party of the New Frontier.
  
  I mean for example I think the strategy to go nuclear against Jeff Sessions trying to paint him as a racist was a mistake.
  
  Average folks know Trump is already making a mockery but goddamn it if they won't stand by that vote if it meant keeping democrats out of power who are doing very little to change their image IMHO.

  2. As much as I'm morally against abortion, and against gov funding, I'm fine with privately funded abortions because of the people it's stopping from living in this country. I don't need more poor leaches.
  3. Due process? Like the no fly list Dems wanted people on? Not letting people into the country isn't due process. People here illegally don't have the same rights as people legally here.
  
  Anything else? And our argument was mostly women's rights and feminism which has morphed into disgusting nasty females.

  2. It is illegal to for government funds to pay for abortions. It has been that way since 1976. This is a misinformation campaign from the right to defund a low income women's health provider that is statically proven to LOWER abortions nationally.
  
  Remember, when you say "Defund Planned Parenthood" you are actively advocating for an increase in abortions.

  These are the people that whined about Obama using executive orders while ignoring how he used them with less frequency than any other president in recent decades. The people who use ignorance as a shield to the degree they look at anything that goes against their personal feelings as "fake news". With the sad reality being that loud idiots are becoming our most visible force, regardless of what side. For every snowflake progressive on one side, there's a snowflake conservative on the other side.
