Here is a quote though: "“There is such a plan, but it is not a promise. It is a wish,” Foxconn’s chief executive officer, Terry Gou, told reporters on Sunday. Gou added that he wanted guarantees of inexpensive land and electricity before the company made its investment and warned against US protectionism, according to Reuters."

So the factory isn't being built FACT.

    The comments are alternative facts.

I have yet to see an article saying it was happening either way...only that it is being considered. Try to keep up. You have no idea how business works, we didn't decide one day to add a 1.3 million dollar addition to the company and the next day it happened. It's a process.

    It will never be built.

    We were lied to.

Why is this even a discussion?

Let me know when they break ground on the build site.

It's a discussion because Trumpers were claiming credit for these jobs and the reality is that it's very unlikely it will be built.

I think the best thing is how, when you strip away ideologies and get to the heart of the matter, QQ is basically the same as the whiniest, most fringe libs. Hell, I even saw one of those true nutjob libs on a comment section, in all seriousness, copy his pre-election idea (from when he was oh-so-convinced that all the "handouts" and "fraud" had assured the country would always be under control of the Ds) of dividing the country into two nations -- one for Rs and one for Ds.

It's just one more example of how reality can be more entertaining than fiction when you have the right mindset.

You can't tell me you are a republican and I then applaud Trumps protectionist approach to businesses. It's not conservative and when obama did It we ripped him.

EO's are now okay that Trump is doing them. Obama bad, Trump good.

We are witnessing the unraveling of Democracy. May god save our souls.

So Trump is going to spend tax payer dollars investigating voter fraud after spending weeks lashing out against Jill Stein for doing the same; on an election that he won because his ego is hurt over not winning the popular vote.

You can't make this stuff up.

    Interesting perspective.....

Trump is going to spend trillions on infrastructure, building a wall and other things. Mostly he's going to add a little less to the debt than Obama did. But he's going to cut taxes, so it looks to me like mainly he is taking money from the free handout jar to pay for this stuff.

No; we were pointing out that the business climate will improve and conditions for investment and job creation will be exponentially better now that we have an administration that is not attacking business on a daily basis and chasing capital offshore.

    But you knew that.

Trump to bring back "black site" prisons overseas.

Also "would also revoke the International Committee of the Red Cross access to wartime detainees. " which is a War Crime. He hasn't been in the office for a week yet and is already advocating for War Crimes.

2020 can't come soon enough. We have elected the enemy.

Trump to eliminate funding for NPR and PBS.

Trump's war on the press and on education continues. I don't know if we can survive until 2020 but god speed.

This is actually encouraging. What purpose do they really serve, at this point? Didn't Romney talk about eliminating funding for PBS? Seems like Trump is wasting no time in actually taking a red pen to the budget (as opposed to just talking about it, like previous Presidents).

God help us if we stop government funding and agendas from corrupting media and science.
