Disgusted With Obama Administration.

Because the entire world is upside down and conservative policies being used elsewhere in the world have proven even more disastrous. How many years now have you been completely wrong on inflation for instance? 8% unemployment blows but it is better than 14%.BGFalcons82;1212296 wrote:1)Hold on there, partner. It's been well advertised that the Obama money machine will collect $1,000,000,000 in campaign contributions. However, I will agree that Barry will spend more than he will bring in. It's in his genes.
2) He probably had more failures than four. Shockingly, Bain Capital was not successful 100% of the time. Hard to believe, eh? He was responsible for saving more businesses than not and the Salt Lake Olympics were a success directly because of his involvement. On a side note, no one succeeds without failing first. Except, of course, GM, which gets to fail and get mo money from taxpayers because they're "too big to fail".
3) I've seen statistics where Mass was 30th. It depends on which graph you're looking at I suppose: The one from MSNBC or Fox.
4) Whom is the King of All Debt Creators? Whom is responsible for trillion dollar+ annual deficits as long as they've been in office? Regarding Mass, I'm pretty sure they have to have a balanced budget as they aren't authorized to print money out of thin air to cover debts like Barry can do with his willing accomplices at the Fed.
I'm curious as to WHY people that have lived through the incredible failures of the current occupier for 3 and a half years who are more than willing to give us all four more years of failure. Must be a lot of fans of the Marquis de Sade out there. -
Sagelol if u want private health insurance companies in ur insurance. "obamacare" (not sure why the k is needed in this already pejorative word) isn't perfect but it's better than what we had.

HitsRusHey sage....here is your heritage...read it....it was written in 1967 by a 'baby boomer' . That's right.... None of this has to do with 'your daddy's' generation. It has everything to do with what we are, and always have been. From the beginning we have been the world's wretched refuse....running from something, escaping, law breakers and scofflaws, bastards, criminals, and thieves....yearning to be free from the constraints of civil society. Oh, and don't forget the self righteous pious...the modern day version being your liberal, ivory tower college professor that filled your head with the trash that permeates your posts. Welcome to real life dude! That's right...the real version that's not fair nor has it ever been, nor will it ever be.
Monster..Steppenwolf ...released 1968.
Once the religious, the hunted and weary
Chasing the promise of freedom and hope
Came to this country to build a new vision
Far from the reaches of Kingdom and pope
Like good Christians some would burn the witches
Later some got slaves to gather riches
But still from near and far to seek America
They came by thousands, to court the wild
But she just patiently smiled and bore a child
To be their spirit and guiding light
And once the ties with the crown had been broken
Westward in saddle and wagon it went
And till the railroad linked ocean to ocean
Many the lives which had come to an end
While we bullied, stole and bought a homeland
We began the slaughter of the red man
But still from near and far to seek America
They came by thousands to court the wild
But she just patiently smiled and bore a child
To be their spirit and guiding light
The Blue and Grey they stomped it
They kicked it just like a dog
And when the war was over
They stuffed it just like a hog
And though the past has its share of injustice
Kind was the spirit in many a way
But its protectors and friends have been sleeping
Now it's a monster and will not obey
The spirit was freedom and justice
And its keepers seemed generous and kind
Its leaders were supposed to serve the country
But now they won't pay it no mind
Cause the people grew fat and got lazy
Now their vote is a meaningless joke
They babble about law and order
But it's all just an echo of what they've been told
Yeah, there's a monster on the loose
It's got our heads into the noose
And it just sits there watchin'
The cities have turned into jungles
And corruption is stranglin' the land
The police force is watching the people
And the people just can't understand
We don't know how to mind our own business
'Cause the whole world's got to be just like us
Now we are fighting a war over there
No matter who's the winner we can't pay the cost
'Cause there's a monster on the loose
It's got our heads into the noose
And it just sits there watchin'
America, where are you now
Don't you care about your sons and daughters
Don't you know we need you now
We can't fight alone against the monster.
America...America...America...America...
fast forward 45 years.... -

Well the risk is from the PE firm buying the company. It's not free ya know? And it isn't like the company just gets debt, it has to sell it to bondholders who buy the debt. In return for those bondholders giving money to a risky company, they are compensated with a higher interest rate and other sweeteners. If the company goes belly up, the shareholders(read the PE firm) go bankrupt and the bondholders lose out as well.Sage;1212327 wrote:Again, Sleeper, WHO THE FUCK IS TAKING THE RISK IF IT'S COMPANY DEBT? It's not Mitt Romney, lmao. There is no risk. That's the thing. The company that he bought went down in flames, and yet Mitt Romney skated with parachutes stitched with 1,000 dollar bills.
I wouldn't expect u to read the link, because it's a well thought out and executed article which u would have to critically think in order to create another one of ur bullshit business laws 300 lecture regurgitations. -
believerThanks for the post HitRus.
Guys like Sleeper and Sage boo hoo about the eeeevil Baby Boomers and even want us to die because we're "screwing their downtrodden generation." Yet they completely ignore the fact that their complaints are nothing new.
Steppenwolf's lyrics written - as hard as this is for me to believe - nearly 45 years ago clearly demonstrate that the more things "hope & change" the more they stay the same.
This is nothing new boyz.
The one thing I've learned over the years is that despite America's pimples, we're still the greatest nation the world has ever known and that we always manage to survive. We'll also get through this latest crisis allegedly destined to kill the elusive American Dream.
We might even survive the Whiner Generations. -

pmoney25Things stay the same because we keep putting the same idiots in charge. Change only happens when people are brave enough to risk everything for the better.
All great civilizations fall. The most depressing part is that we know history and still ignore it and refuse to do the right things. -

Nothing new? Name me the last American generation to leave 100 trillion + in debt and unfunded liabilities to the next generation? I'd love to hear this one. What the hell does your assumption of race have to do with this discussion? Why do people reach for this pathetic "argument", especially on an internet message board where NO ONE personally knows anyone? Frankly, if this is all you can muster, you are the muppet, not I.Sage;1212314 wrote:3. BG Falcons, you are an under-educated white muppet. I had my suspicions at ur username, but ur clipart GIF of a snake flag all but confirms it. plz tell me u r a tea partier so i can soundly trounce your shitty little world views.
Regarding the "snake flag", do you know what it's called? It's named after an original patriot. I'm not going to just give it to you, you'll have to do some homework. Knowledge is a powerful tool, isn't it? Here's some history from an "under-educated muppet":
Try this on (I asterisked the flag-creator's name):Considered one of the first flags of the United States, the flag was later replaced by the current Stars and Stripes (or Old Glory) flag. Since the Revolution, the flag has seen times of reintroduction as a symbol of American patriotism, a symbol of disagreement with government, or a symbol of support for civil liberties.
If you want to debate/argue rationally, then bring it. It's all good. If you want to disparage posters because of their assumed ethnicity and assumed "shitty world views", then you're wasting everyone's time, including your own.In fall 1775, the United States Navy was established to intercept incoming British ships carrying war supplies to the British troops in the colonies. To aid in this, the Second Continental Congress authorized the mustering of five companies of Marines to accompany the Navy on their first mission. The first Marines enlisted in the city of Philadelphia, and they carried drums painted yellow, depicting a coiled rattlesnake with thirteen rattles, and the motto "Don't Tread On Me." This is the first recorded mention of the future ******* flag's symbolism. -

Sage might know what the "snake flag" means but somehow I doubt it. The tattooed Whiner Generation was raised on video games, historical revisionism, and sissified political correctness.BGFalcons82;1213047 wrote:Regarding the "snake flag", do you know what it's called? No doubt the "snake flag" symbolizes how the eeeeevil white Christian gray-haired male oppressor class dominated the poor downtrodden masses throughout American revisionist history. -

You bitch incessantly about the greedy Boomers and how we've screwed the country. The Greatest Generation got us into Korea and Vietnam. My generation protested endless wars, expressed concern about the viability of Social Security (forced upon us by the Greatest Generation), complained about the cost of increasing welfare rolls, bitched about Wall Street greed, lived through artificial fuel shortages, marveled over political corruption, lived through Civil Rights strife, helped elect more idiots to Capitol Hill, etc., etc., blah, blah, blah.
Your generation's moans, gripes, complaints, and sniveling is nothing new.
In fact, I'm hoping you astute Internet savvy techno-whiz Generation of Spoiled Brat Gimmee Gimmee Whiners will stop wallowing in self-pity and find solutions to the newest crisis...just like every proceeding generation has before it. -
tk421and when our solution to the problem is to cut your SS benefits, what are you going to do about that?
-
believer
How are you going to explain to millions of Boomers who were forced by law to pay-in to SS and have done so for decades and who have literally deposited hundreds of thousands of dollars into the system and who have been receiving statements from the Feds each year telling us how much per month we will (not won't) receive that the gubmint is now reneging on its Grand Socialist Experiment?tk421;1213497 wrote:and when our solution to the problem is to cut your SS benefits, what are you going to do about that?
Will you place tens thousands of us in jail for marching on DC and then spend billions of tax dollars on us in the Fed penitentiaries after we're arrested for demanding that the Feds make good on the "promise"?
Will you then be willing to take care of your parents and elderly relatives if the Feds default on the social contract? Hmmmm....I wonder??
What will you do for your own retirement if the Whiner Generation miraculously "fixes" things by no longer withholding FICA taxes? Invest it or spend it frivolously? What are you going to do about that? -
tk421Maybe your generation should have thought about those problems before placing the SS trust in the general fund and spending all the money on worthless crap. Hmm, pay higher taxes, have a higher retirement age, lower benefits paid out just so the generations who caused the problem can have 100% of their benefits? I don't think so, if we are going to suffer everyone is going to suffer.

Your benefits are going to get cut. History books have already been written about how the boomers have ruined this country through greed and selfishness. That is your legacy. We are trying to work on solutions. We are trying to get real conservatives elected. We are trying to get people elected who believe in liberty, believe in fiscal conservatism and believe in following the constitution. I believe in the next 4-8 you will start to see an influx of Libertarian leaning politicians in this country at all levels. People who actually believe in freedom and believe in small government. But for now we have to put up with the " Elect Romney because he is not Obama, not because he is actually any good." Great example set by the older generation for sure.HitsRus;1213523 wrote:That's the whole point.
