As much as the Clinton's and Obama hate each other I can see them all traveling around together with their teleprompters and golf clubs, giving speeches, autographing pictures, and erecting monuments of themselves to commemorate their greatness.gut;1311909 wrote:I really am shocked that people won't send off Obama to do what he loves and what he's good at - giving speeches and posing for the camera. -
HitsRusI can't believe that the Obama campaign that(falsely) claims that the opposition is 'waging a war on women', trots out Bill Clinton as a spokesman. How stupid do they think people are?
Moreover, Obama is going around touting "his" accomplishments...
1)...getting Osama Bin Laden and "AlQaida is on the run".
Any president couldwould have done that. and given Benghazi (which he won't talk about) I don't think that 'HE" has AlQaida 'on the run'
2)He ended the war in Iraq.
Good for him sticking to GEORGE BUSH's timetable. so Blame Bush for this one.
http://mediamatters.org/research/2010/06/27/memo-to-media-bush-set-a-timetable-for-withdraw/166835
3)The economy is getting better.
The economy is stuck in neutral. Stocks rebounded from the crash...but that always happens as stock prices correct themselves.
...and did that help the middle class that he claims he wants to help?
the housing industry is still sputtering.
4)He won't tax the middle class.
The biggest "Whopper of them all!.. He rammed thru a HUGE tax called Obamacare....remember? It was only constitutional because it is a TAX. Who do you think will bear the brunt of it? ...That's right...the people who always bear the burden of tax increases.
Why would you vote for another 4 years?
This administration thinks people are stupid.
Stupid is as stupid does.
I guess we'll find out on Tuesday if they are right. -

Apparently very stupid and if the sheeple buy-off on this round of media hype, Obama would be right.HitsRus;1311969 wrote:How stupid do they think people are?

It's Bush's Fault.HitsRus;1311969 wrote:2)He ended the war in Iraq. Good for him sticking to GEORGE BUSH's timetable.
In our plant our hourly workers are working shortened weeks due to slumping sales and friends and family in my circle of influence are still being laid off. But - hey - 7.9% reported unemployment is better than 8%. Things are looking up.HitsRus;1311969 wrote:3)The economy is getting better. The economy is stuck in neutral.
C'mon. Barry cares about us. If we'll only give Obamacare a chance, it'll be as successful as Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. You'll see!HitsRus;1311969 wrote:He won't tax the middle class. HitsRusWe have been divided by gender...we have been divided by race...we have been divided by class...we have been divided by religion/secular.
Can we please stop?...We need to retire this!
to believer...How does Maher get away with saying this stuff? ..."just kidding...Romney cares." Totally irresponsible, totally reprehensible to say "black people know where you live and come after you." And then Obama uses the term 'revenge' in a campaign speech???? In a tight, highly charged election to begin with, such statements and terminology used by high profile people can be misinterpreted, and their use deserves censure by responsible people/organizations.
Wow....just wow. Worse, no one in the main stream media is calling them on it?

Manhattan Buckeye"We have been divided by gender..."
To be fair we've only been divided by gender by those that are dumb enough to fall for that total logic fail (and condescension) the Obama administration is pushing. And those same dumb people who will vote DEM regardless. Smart women aren't going to vote based on whether the government will give them "free" birth control (which is no where in the Constitution) when they are struggling, or their husbands are struggling, or their children are struggling, or their parents are struggling to find work which would allow for a reasonable living. What do you want, a medical "benefit" worth maybe $250 year or a decent job that would make that figure a non-issue? The radical women's groups (NOW, NARAL, etc.) have no desire at all to help out women, like the unions they only desire to perpetuate their own existence and have zero regard for their supposed constituency. I'm very disappointed in one of my former classmates that is in politics now that has absolutely sold his soul to these opportunists (they aren't stupid, they know what they are doing - they prey on the stupid).
Fortunately, most women are smart enough to see through the facade. -

TiernanObama isn't going to do one thing that will hurt the mostly middle classers that reside here on the OC. You'll all still get up and drive your mid-size sedan to work everyday and go to the kid's soccer game on Saturday. To those predicting Armageddon because we have 4 more yrs of BHO...you're an idiot.

Manhattan Buckeye^^^
And what if we add another US$6T in the national debt in the next four years, that won't affect anyone here? Maybe if you're over 70. -

Then call me an idiot.....the United States of America in 2016 will look nothing like it does today...and today, it looks nothing like it should.Tiernan;1315065 wrote:Obama isn't going to do one thing that will hurt the mostly middle classers that reside here on the OC. We will be a socialist state, or on an irrevocable road there, by 2016 with a lame-duck BHO as our 'leader'. He has been biding his time over the last 4 years to get to this point....where there is no retribution for his arrogant, narcisstic actions in terms of being re-elected.
His first Executive Order of his 2nd term will be to deem himself "President for Life'. -

LOL. I thought the framers discussed birth control at length. Got a link? LOL. -

He already did - he saddled every middle class family of 4 with an extra $68,000 in new obama debt, in just 4 years. Guess you didn't know that. Try adding that to your personal family balance sheet and see how your finances work out. Of course, if you're among the nearly half of Americans not paying federal taxes, then you are off the hook, sort of (inflation will eventually bury you instead). The other half of American families, those shouldering all the income tax burden, will instead be responsible for $136,000 in new debt. Most of us are not real accepting of that ......so you can start to see where this is heading.Tiernan;1315065 wrote:Obama isn't going to do one thing that will hurt the mostly middle classers that reside here on the OC. And your daily musings here never admit to the fact that GOP presidents since Reagan have increased the national debt 58% to 42% more under their watch.QuakerOats;1315132 wrote:He already did - he saddled every middle class family of 4 with an extra $68,000 in new obama debt, in just 4 years. Your fiscal conservative schtic is admirable. Your misinformation on the subject over the past 32 years is bloody remarkable.
You had a chance to support a true budget balancer candidate in Ron Paul. You chose not to do so. -
Belly35Obama victory will reap the spoils of his last four year, without the ability to blame, the Democrats and Obama will be unable to avert their own destiny. The problem is how much harm and devastation will be done to America, economy, industry, manufacturing, military, security, taxation, medical, system of governing and our liberties, rights and freedoms of the people … in the next four years.

Comrade, we've lived in a partial socialist state for 75 years or so. We would have remained the same had Romney been elected. Reagan espoused social programs too, believe it or not. Our republic has voted for it. Like it or not, that's what the democracy wants. Plenty of opportunity to repeal SS, welfare, UC, and many others. Never happened...and never will happen. Even if Ron Paul been elected (my choice), it would never happen. The vast majority of Americans think these policies need to stay. want to live in a country that has no social programs, then move to Canada....oh wait! In fact, good luck in finding even one country that doesn't provide for the good of their people. Oh, China would probably best fit your political agenda. No business regs, no UC bennies, no health care, no labor laws, no safety laws, no regs on clean air/water...you name it. Beijing is looking for people that view the world the way you do.wkfan;1315118 wrote:Then call me an idiot.....the United States of America in 2016 will look nothing like it does today...and today, it looks nothing like it should.

TiernanDear Wkfan...that must stand for Worthington Kilbourne fan...so in 4 more years lets see if that $400K home in Worthington is worth any less or your $110K job as some bureaucrat Downtown is still there or your used to be trophy wife is still driving the 2 - 3 yr old Infinti? My guess is all that will still be happening and you'll still take vacations to SW FL or Napa once or twice a year and the kid in college will have either graduated or getting a Masters which Dad is still paying for.
