These “option” play calls with a qb who has no running skills are so stupid.

posted by wildcats20Holy shit, what a play by T Mac.
If he would have put in the same effort in that pass he was thrown in 2nd quarter, he would have scored.
Lol, this offense.
Sorry, but Haskins is not that good. We've had 5-6 drives start in great field position and we have 7 fucking points. Never seen a QB so scared when a defender comes within 5 feet of him.
Thanks. Weird
Dino with the intentional safety.
What the hell Sparty hahaha
Did MSU kick the post safety kick-off OB on purpose too?
Drew Christman MVP
Welp. What a shitty game.
Should have snapped that one OB too, instead of into the man in motion!
MSU is terrible
You can count on MSU to find new and inventive ways to lose!
Jesus Christ MSU is imploding
I think the announcers are giving too much credit to the punter and not enough to the guys who are downing the ball, especially in the raw weather. Typically guys trying to down punts at all levels of football don't do nearly as well as the OSU guys are today.
Announcers trying to point to Lewerke's shoulder injury for his suckiness...no guys, he just sucks
So...that purposeful safety, that went well for MSU.

Klatt & Gus were giving credit to both, but come on, if the punter doesn't put the ball in where his guys can make these plays, it's a moot point...it was a tag team effort, for sure, but IMO, Chrisman became a Ray Guy Award finalist yesterday.
btw, Joel Klatt & Gus Johnson are my favorite CFB announcing team...period
Anyone hear the one of the announcers after the game?
They said something like, "moving forward you should see more of a Tebow/Leak type of offense with Tate more involved."
The fuck is he basing this off of? Tate's single carry?

I heard that, but he actually said "might see"...and I agree 1000%

I think Urban is planning to throw the kitchen sink against UM. He is teasing with this taste of Tate because our red zone offense has been anemic.

Lol, I heard that and lol’d. They acted like osu all of a sudden found their run game/offense.
That game was a joke offensively. Osu hasn’t found shit, and that’s the reason we are getting no love in polls (and rightfully so)
Also, Tate wasn’t even good in that game. He had a really bad fumble and no TDs on plays he was in the game.
I do want to see him get more PT in the red zone and when Haskins is struggling. To help the run game. But let’s not pretend he’s this huge weapon...yet
Last mini rant...how about the national media jumping on the Nebraska bandwagon now? One week after shit talking OSU for "barely beating a 2-7 team." Weird how the narrative changes for OSU...where's the media ripping LSU for that great 7 pt win against Arkansas?

I’ll say it again. It’s insane that LSU is #7
