15 win team, maybe...
15 win team, maybe...
posted by Commander of AwesomeGuys, this cavs team is REALLY REALLY bad. We have an entire team of mid level talent, that don't play defense and are undersized for their position.
And their shot of choice is the mid-range jumper. Add that with the fact that they can't hit a 3 to save their lives which is a recipe for disaster in today's NBA.

I’ve been trying not to overreact but I do wonder if they’re on historically bad pace. The thing that makes me inclined to think so the most is they don’t show any promise or hope so far. They just lost to two teams at home you wouldn’t suspect of being very good by double digits.

Don't play any defense and don't have the firepower to get into shooting matches with their opponent = potentially historically bad.

Don't forget the part where most of them were acquired to compliment Lebron the past four years.

Has the makings of a mob chant
15 wins is the lowest amount of wins for the franchise. I put this years team in the 15 to 20 win range
I really didn't understand the Love extension, unless they are trying to trade him away. The best interest of this franchise is to tank a couple years "trust the process."

I think it's clear this FO vastly over-valued our current players.

Welp, at least they inadvertently started the tanking process.

Yep. It's time to fire Koby Altman's fucking ass though. He's a fucking bum
The love resigning means nothing. He doesn’t add any wins to a team—unless he’s the third/fourth best option.
I'm laughing thinking about Koby Altman's record as GM:
Hard to think of one great thing he accomplished.
posted by Commander of AwesomeI'm laughing thinking about Koby Altman's record as GM:
- Traded away Kyrie Irving for a bag of beans and Sexton.
- Failed to resign Lebron James
- Resigned Kevin Love because... Trade bait? (Let's hope!)
- Resigned Larry Nance to semi - reasonable contract | Not terrible, but undersized and not a scoring threat. Why the urgency to get a deal for TT 2.0?
Hard to think of one great thing he accomplished.
Has made the necessary moves for a great chance at a top 3 pick
Road to 0-82 continues.

And many might say...oh not even possible.
Yet, coming off of an 0-16 football season............
Because Cleveland.

The insane tanking that goes on in the last two months is pretty impressive...might be like trying to miss every game in the first round of your NCAA bracket
My nephew's wife took my sister in law to the game the other night for her birthday. I told her "birthday's are supposed to be fun, not punishment. My condolences..."

I have seen a few Cavs fans bitching about firing Lue. WTF?

It's kind of crazy how far he fell in a short period of time. He was considered one of the hottest young coaching prospects as an assistant, got the Cavs job in place of Blatt, promptly got considered the "junior partner" to LeBron as far as team authority by the general public and then got canned almost immediately after James left, when he proved he couldn't win games with a roster consisting of basically nothing but complementary pieces sans the superstar they were complementing.

It's pretty evident to everyone, but the FO that it's time for the Cavs to transition to the tanking phase. They gotta clean the slate, and Lue being let go is a start. He should have been let go in the off season. Lebron hid many flaws for Lue, which is what he has done for every coach his entire career.

One down, one to go
I bet you the Cavs hire Rick Pitino
