So pathetic....Manziel released from a CFL team and it sounds like he's banned from that league. None of the teams are allowed to extend him a contract.

Ya hate it to see it. Dude is his own worst enemry.
Remember when Footwedge was in with Browns ownership and predicted they’d just sign a bunch of tall receivers for Manziel to throw to in the end zone and they’d dominate?

Hope he was just embarrassed and left the site due to his buffoonery/Manziel nut hugging and nothing happened to him. I don't think he's posted since right after JFF had that big rushing game against, I believe, KC.
Chances are slim & none, imo...

Pipe dream, but kind of package would you be willing to give up?

You know within the division they are going to want an arm and a leg. If the Browns are going to do that, go after a younger OBJ.

I wouldn't.

for a guy who's on the tail end of his career? Nothing.
AB is in the latter half of his career, but he still led the league in TDs last season. You’d still be getting multiple elite years from him. I wouldn’t say I’d give them “nothing” for him.
The steelers already stated they wouldn't trade within the division, and I also would give htem nothing. Fuck them.

Apparently, Colbert did an about face on that comment.

Lol no kidding, tough crowd on here. I'd probably give up a 2nd, and easily a 3rd. Not sure I'd part with #17 for him, especially with his drama. He'd easily be the best wr on our team and better than any other receiver available in this draft.

Still wouldn't give a ton. He probably has about 2 elite years left.
I guess I should say nothing the Steelers are going to accept. He might have a couple really good years left but that's it. He'll be on the decline from here on out. They will want the moon from a division rival.

Agree with you that I’m not giving up a ton. But like icl said, I’d easily give up a 2nd rounder for 2-3 years of elite WR play.

Making that news even more hilarious:

And his wife apparently cheated in a half marathon. Either that or she ran 7 consecutive 4-minute miles to finish the race. Man, those two are a match made in heaven!

History ain't on your side of this argument. I would bet a lot we've seen his best and probably his last elite yr already.

That's like something out of a Seinfeld episode.
The more I think about it, the more I say I am not giving the Steelers any assets (unless it's a throw away asset like a 7th round pick) for AB. He will be 31 going into this season and he is confirmed a bitch. He just straight up quit on his team that has been competitive nearly every season he has been with them, because he was butt hurt. While also getting paid a good amount of money. Fuck that, not even close to being worth giving the Steelers a 2nd round pick. We already made our off field issue signing with Kareem. That's more than enough.
I would be hard pressed to give up a good asset even if he wasn't within the division. That's a move you make if you believe we are a piece or two away from being SB contenders. It's not even a guarantee we will be in the playoffs next year.
I’d give up a third rounder for AB. Easily
its not going to happen though. Steelers won’t trade him to the browns or anyone else they play multiple times a year
I know most of these guys say this kind of stuff....

I know I wear my Scarlet & Gray goggles a lot, but I sure would like to put Baker and Parris Campbell together in the same offense and see what kind of magic they'd make happen
