I'm glad Peppers is riding with the 2s according to reports. That's good bc he sucked ass last season.

Guy's a bum but he will be camp competition/depth. Was the #2 overall pick...

I'm such an idiot, but I LOVED him coming out of college. Feeling devu with Cooper last season. In college he was such a fucking monster, his tape was just insane.

We've all made bad calls (cough-Weeden-cough). By all accounts, he (Robinson) should've been a beast.

LMAO, there are legit plays in here with him knocking his guy on their ass 10 yds back. He was such a 'fuggin' physical BEAST. Just insane. Lets just bring him in on run plays and let him mow fools down. He's something special on run plays.
I guess it's good to have confidence but coming off of 0-16? Maybe he knows something we don't? Like they fired Hue?

Talk is cheap Kirksey.
I think they will get 6-7 wins maybe but playoffs? Tyrod would have to play way above expectations for that to happen. I think they have the weapons on offense but won't have a dynamic starting QB to light up the scoreboard (at least this year).
The Browns SB odds are at 66-1 lol. I can't remember the last time the odds were better than 100-1.
I am glad they are confident, but looking at the schedule I just don't see it. There are a lot of assumptions being made with this confidence.
-Young defense will improve and be much better.
-Gordon will be the pro bowl WR we remember.
-Tyrod will give us good play at QB.
-JT's replacement will do just fine.
-Rookies will provide good snaps.
-"Sophomores" will show tremendous improvement.
- The schedule isn't as tough as it seems on paper.
-Hue jackson all of a sudden becomes a NFL coach.
Am I missing anything? Agree/disagree?
@like_that you forgot the "they had the roster talent to win 4-6 games last season" argument. That one always brings teh lulz. Yeah, but they didn't.
The young def argument kills me, we have two unproven Safties, a big ? at CB, no other pass rusher besides a soph Garrett who hasn't proven ability to stay healthy, Collins at LBer who was god fucking awful last season following a pay day, and a DC that thought lining Peppers up in Lake Erie was a sound strategy.

This is about 3-4 games short of Kizer's analysis LOL.

Well I’m predicting 0 wins from now on until Hue is fired. Which is hopefully week 3 or 4 this year.

Hopefully we all can laugh at this prediction too.

Yeah. Hopefully. But we’re taking about a guy who has 9 less wins than Mike Pettine. So....
Regardless of Hue, I'm pretty excited to get this season going. With the addition of Haley, I think this team, unlike season's past, will be more than watchable. Seems like there's always a team who surprises....why not the Browns? As fans, aren't we about due?

Yeah it will definitely help if Haley is calling the plays instead of Hue. Add in better receivers and a QB who doesn't turn the ball over. They should d definitely have a better time this year.

They have a shit ton of weapons...especially if Gordon can round into form. With Landry on the roster, I don't see JG putting up the gaudy numbers he did the one year but they should be able to move the chains consistently and limit turnovers with Tyrod. With that, the defense should be improved because of additions and the fact they probably won't be spending 2/3rd's of the game on the field. I just hope they can/will run the damn ball.
The D will be improved because Tyrod won't force them to defend a 20 yard field 3-4 times a game.

If they can get some wins (by some I mean 5-7), be fun/competitive when they do, and give us hope for the future I think we can all be happy with this season. The last time I had legitimate hope was the season coming off of Gordon's monster year, but he immediately ruined it when he tested positive.

The only way I have optimism is if in those 5-7 wins Baker is leading them to several of them or at least looking good doing so. If TT plays the whole year and Baker sits, I won't have a lot of confidence going into 2019 because I think there's zero chance TT is here next year unless he leads them to a 13-3 record or something.
Man I love Baker and this just makes me like him even more.
