Allen is significantly better a prospect than kizer lol come on now.

Lance Zierlein on NFL.com had Kizer at a 5.8 graded prospect and Allen at a 5.9. I would not agree that .1 is significant.

Christ, Clemson's D-line is stacked

It's funny because it seems like on any given year a position group is stacked. This year, QB's, CB's and RB's were plentiful while edge rushers and WR's were thin. Next year's D-Line class is stacked. Would be nice to know that the Browns have their future QB so they could start filling in the rest of the pieces.

Ive heard some analysts say Clemsons D-Line is amazing in college, but dont think they stack up well for NFL. I hadnt heard anything like that until this years draft.

So much D line talent in next year's draft.  We may have passed on Chubb, but will have plenty of options next year.

LOL...ESPN all over the place, as usual. Kiper thinks they can go 8-8, they are listed as a team that can be a "surprise/sleeper' Wild Card team yet the same guys have them listed at 31 in their power rankings.

I did get a good laugh out of ESPN’s front page headline “the browns are sneaky contenders for a playoff birth!”and then every other article trashes on the browns.

I guess if any sports league you can go from terrible to playoffs, it’s the NFL...

I don't know if I'd get that far ahead of ourselves (ESPN with playoff talk) but I am willing to bet that this team will be much more fun/watchable than last year. With the skill players (TT, Duke, Hyde, Chubb, Gordon, Landry, Coleman, (possibly Callaway), Njoku & Devalve), I've already heard "best skill unit the Browns have had since 2007" which was a pretty good group.

Also think with the defensive additions, and a second year in Williams' system, that the defense will be improved. Plus I don't think they will be on the field nearly as much with an improved offense.

Looking at the schedule, there isn’t one easy game imo and it’s not solely because the browns were trash last year.

Yeah just to clarify, I’m not the one saying the browns could make the playoffs lol 7 wins at most. Just pointing out that thankfully in the NFL, you can turn it around pretty quickly. Just need a QB and some surrounding talent. Thankfully we have the latter, just need the former.

Yeah, looking at past schedules, you could see winnable games (if everything fell right). There aren't many on this schedule that you say "they should win that one." Most likely opponents to steal wins against would be: Jets (they've improved), Ravens (2x's), Bucs, Bengals (2x's), Chiefs, Broncos, Bills & Lions.

Waiting for a certain poster to let us know how many winnable games we have. Lol

I do find it interesting that many of these preseason prognosticators think the Browns will be better than the Bengals. Hell, in Rang's mock draft, he had Cincy picking 3rd.

I see the Browns are going to be on Hard Knocks this year.

That’s sweet. They’re a great team to do for that show.

I know Dorsey's definitely not a fan of Hard Knocks. Maybe Hue will finally jump in Lake Erie?

He is on June 1.  He was made an announcement yesterday that he will do it for his foundation.  For every member of the Browns organization that jumps with him, he will donate $100.

I didn't click on the link but was starting to think he was a welcher until I heard that part of the reason he may not have done this earlier was due to a health issue.

Yeah his doctors wouldn’t let him jump because of a heart issue he has.

I laughed at someone’s Tweet:

Hue Jackson delaying the jump into Lake Erie until June is the best clock management of his career.
