lol, this is who wrote that click bait trash:https://twitter.com/liveocgirl?lang=en

No doubt even though I could realistically see two of those three predictions (Bridgewater & Rosen) happening although one (Rosen) would make me want to puke.

Why would Rosen make you puke?

Mccarron a free agent, so now Hue can't waste a pick on him

Yeah, I'd say now about an 80% chance McCarron is the week 1 starter. Blech.

It really doesn’t matter who our starting QB is this year (assuming we somehow don’t pull cousins out of our asses). They’re just going to groom the #1 pick QB behind this person for a year. Doesn’t bother me at all to see mccarron be the starter as long as we don’t offer him some ridiculous long term contract. If he sucks, go to kizer. In 2019, we’ll have our starting QB anyway.

I'm fine with McCarron as a FA and not giving up a pick. Would rather have a Vikings qb or Cousins, but he is better than nothing. He doesn't change the fact we are going #1 QB.

Mike Glennon got a 3 years/$45M ($18.5M gtd) last offseason. My random guess is AJ McCarron gets 4 years/$62M ($25M gtd).

No fucking thanks.

I wouldn't mind the 4 yrs, or a high salary. Just not both. I'd love a 2 yr deal, $12M which I would think is more than fair. However Hue really fucked us trying to trade valuable draft captial for the fucking bum so negioations will be tough I bet. He's got us over a barrell.

If McCarron comes in here, his expectations are going to be that he's "the guy" and the long-term starter. That may be his & Hue's opinion, and not necessarily the front office's, but a guy his age (27) is likely coming in thinking he's the franchise guy.

if you've been in the league 4 years and haven't beat out Andy Dalton, you aint anybody's guy.

I don't think there's any guarantee that they (Bengals) don't move on from Dalton and make McCarron their guy. I think we've all seen Dalton's ceiling.

This post popped up on my Facebook wall this morning in my "memories" from 4 years ago today....

"I'm starting to warm up to Jimmy Garoppolo as a potential QB selection for the Browns with that late 1st/early 2nd rounder....."

Here’s a fun stat... darnold. Allen, and mayfield’s receivers dropped 57 balls this year combined,.. Rosen’s receivers dropped 43 alone

I think after pro days, combines, etc. we’ll see that Rosen is the clear #1.

No way we pass on him.

Think it’ll still be Darnold. Glad the combine is finally coming up.

Seeing a few mocks where they take Barkley at #1 and the QB at 4.

Seems odd to me that that a front office based on analytics would draft a RB that high.

Besides DePodesta, that front office is gone.

I think the mindset behind taking him #1, by these "mockers", is that they don't want to miss out on him when they can get a QB at 4 and there isn't a bunch differentiating these top 3 QB's (Mayfield, Rosen & Darnold). In the latest one I saw, it had Josh Allen going #2 to the NYG's and the Browns taking Mayfield at 4, followed by Darnold to the Donks & Rosen to the Jets.

I don't agree with the RB at #1 but I guess I could live with it if they got their QB in FA. If that were to happen, I'd prefer a combo of Fitzpatrick/Chubb to bolster the defense if Chubb were to fall at 4. I know, #1 is too high for Fitzpatrick.

Drafting a RB #1 overall is a fireable offense.
