Also doesn’t sound like Crowell will be back in CLE, according to Hue.

I didn't really gaf about Manziel but I did take away the fact that (no surprise) Gordon will likely fall off the wagon if he gets enough chances.

And they shouldn't be enamored with any of these QB's. None of them jump out at being a franchise guy. That being said, they still need one.

Brinson has lost his mind. No way in Hell I'd give up two top five 1st rounders AND two 2nd rounders for Luck in his current condition. I'm still skeptical he'll play again. If he does, I'm doubting at a high level. Even healthy I don't know if I'd do that deal.

He apparently hasn't thrown a football yet.

Yeah, from what I've heard from people who know their shit (NFL people on Sirius XM, not 92.3) a lot, are skeptical that he may play or even close to the same level, if he does.
If that happens, the Colts, who I might hate as close to as much as the Steelers (stole Baltimore's team causing the domino effect that had Baltimore steal Cleveland's, decrepit old Bill Polian bitching about Cleveland "tanking" when they got both Peyton Manning & Luck with the overall #1 pick AND laid down to the Titans in week 17 in 2007 when the Browns could've made the playoffs), really screwed up a potential HOFer/superstars career with their shitty personnel decisions.
Gotta love the NFL's "silly season" with all the trade rumors before draft day. I am also skeptical about Luck's health. BR- I share your hatred for the Colts and for the same reason.

A lot of people I know say "but how can you hate the Colts?" If they are Browns fans, they should loathe them (Colts). If people would do so digging, it was that POS Irsay who snuck the Colts out of Baltimore in the middle of the night. Baltimore had a very storied franchise in the Colts. Then they move to a shitty fan base city like Indianapolis and now Baltimore wants a team. We all know the rest.
Plus, I heard Polian on Sirius recently. Every chance he has a shot to rip on Cleveland for the analytics and "tanking" I want to throw up. Nobody tanked more in that season that the Colts got to pick Luck than Indy. Their supporting cast is dog shit to begin with and then they lose their starting QB (Manning) and go into full on tank mode, "lucking" (pun intended) into a second #1 overall pick for a franchise QB.
Jordan Zirm@clevezirm
finally finished Manziel's appearance on the ThomaHawk pod. to hear Johnny talk about how he couldn't identify defensive fronts (in walk-throughs!!) and that the Browns started him anyway, is such an organizational failure on multiple levels
UN-REAL
Daniel Jeremiah (kind of a douche) grades out Darnold as good as Wentz. Not sure I agree with that, but the analyst I trust still has Darnold as his best qb.

92.3 had Charlie Casserly (sp?) on this afternoon and he has Darnold as his top QB. Sounds like the feeling is that Darnold has the most upside of the top four QB's where Mayfield is the most NFL ready to win now but he has a ceiling.
Rosen or Darnold. BPA at 4. Not hard.

No thanks. He's about the fourth QB I'd take in this draft.
If backed into a corner I guess I'd take Darnold, as he seems the safest but I'm far from "wowed" about him (and don't think he's a franchise guy) followed by Mayfield, Lamar Jackson then Rosen. I don't like Rosen at all but there's no way I'd put Allen in front of him as I think Allen should probably be a 2nd or 3rd rounder but some desperate team will take a flyer on him early.
I know that RB is a luxury but man it's hard not to really like Barkley. Hearing the guys interview yesterday, he's well spoken, seems down to earth and also seems to know about the Browns and would relish the chance to help turn this thing around.

Yes we know, BR. You say that on a daily basis.

Would not QQ at all with Barkley at 4.
Damn....not Browns related but OSU center Billy Price tore his pec on his third rep on the bench at the Combine yesterday. Projected 1st rounder, he'll likely drop to the 2nd and lose quite a bit of money over that.

Allen blows, guy hardly did shit at Wyoming for Christ sakes

People will be wowed by his potential upside and will use the excuse that he had nobody to throw to in college. I think we've already seen in Kizer that accuracy issues don't tend to correct themselves from college to the pros.

BR, you forced me to agree with this fucking idiot. Allen is nowhere near a third round talent, let alone a top 4 pick.
Also I no longer have anything constructive to say for you guys getting boners about drafting a RB with the 4th pick. You guys are fucking idiots if you haven't learned your lesson yet. Bring on the negs!!!!!!

I agree. Everything I read says this draft is super deep with running backs. Give me QB, Fitz/Chubb, RB in the 2nd.

Did I say "use one of the top 4 picks on Barkley?" No....I said "it's hard not to like him." After the T-Rich/William Green fiascos, I'm pretty gun shy on pulling the trigger on a RB in the 1st round.
I think their BIGGEST needs (before FA) are QB, CB, RB, WR & LT. I'd be thrilled if they got a combination of these with their first/second rounders.
