They so far have the looks of a young, "fun," and frisky 6 win team that will build some hope/hype into next season.  I just hope Hue isn't around for it.

He won't be. Saw a stat where he'a 1-10-1 in games decided by less than 3 points. That's on coaching to me. Last year their roster sucked but he took a 3-4 win team and turned it into an "0-fer." Dorsey is counting down the losses where he can go into Haslam's office and say "see, now can I fire him?"

It's gonna happen. Unless Hue completely turns this around and gets them to the playoffs (or VERY close), he's gone.

Yeah hopefully Hue is done soon. Can’t take anymore of him

I'm just tired of him talking out of both sides of his mouth. When asked about that head scratching 2 point conversion after the first TD he said "I told my guys, Hell with this, we're going to be more aggressive", which they all agreed to. Where was this "aggression" when your defense was gassed, couldn't stop a CYO league team, and you had 4th & inches from your 19 with an 83% success rate on those calls?

I was most excited about Hue than any other hire, and he has been the worst of the bunch. Fucking sucks lol

Yep, you weren't the only one. His hire was praised across the league about how the Browns "finally got it right." Now it's a constant throwing other people under the bus/excuse-fest. Seems like he wants to be one of the "boys" more than being the leader.

Heading over for the Ravens game Sunday--heart says W, head says 'not so fast my friend'...hopefully they can get it done.

Definitely a W. FES will be rocking for Mayfield's first start, he might put 30+ on a great ravens defense.

Not sure if mentioned before, but Terrence Mitchell broke his wrist. Sent to the IR. Need some guys to step up at corner.

I've read forearm and that it is possible he can return in time for our playoff run.

BEREA — Browns fans are often referred to as die-hard.

Safety Jabrill Peppers has a different term.

“So that’s one thing I notice about Cleveland sports, you guys are very, very wishy-washy,” he told The Chronicle-Telegram on Wednesday. “If it ain’t going right immediately, calling for heads, calling for jobs.”

"He blamed himself for not taking a touchback on one kickoff return Sunday and thinking he was in the end zone when he wasn’t on another."

He has a right to his opinion, and to some level he's right--but it's stuff like this that pisses fans off...you've been returning kicks for how long, and you still don't know where you're at?!?

Is Bosa still out?

Chargers DE Joey Bosa (foot) expects to be sidelined until at least Week 9.

Bosa got his cast removed this week. He's making progress, but still has some instability in his foot. The Chargers are targeting a return for Bosa after their Week 8 bye. Isaac Rochell will hold down the starting spot opposite Melvin Ingram until Bosa returns. Sep 26 - 5:05 PM

On another note, Baker Mayfield is on pace for 3900+ yards passing which would be a new Browns rookie record. PLEASE let this happen so we don't have to hear the current record holders name again. LOL

Seeing some of these twitter guys reference on the bad calls that went against the Browns..fucking pisses me off.

The browns have been a national joke and we’re 1-31 the last two years. We’ve got all these rookies and new guys. Yet we have to beat the opposing team AND put up with 4-5 TERRIBLE calls per game?! I’m not one to blame the refs or complain that “my team always gets screwed!” But when you look at some of these calls (specifically the Harrison holding call and the no-call on Landry), and how they’re always called in drive-killing or game changing situations, you have to wonder who in the league office has $1M on Browns under 5.5 wins this season.

I've thought some of the same things...like their mindset is "oh, it's just the Browns....nobody will care." But when you see comments on Twitter like "what does the league have against the Browns" it pisses you off.

I know it sounds like a loser mentality but the Browns have enough going against them to begin with, almost have to play error free and STILL overcome the refs?

It was utter bullshit that we are 4 minutes away from the end of regulation before the Rats get a penalty called? C'mon...almost EVERY punt return has a questionable block in the back and they couldn't even throw a flag on that?

Right! You’re telling me a team can play pretty poorly (which is generally when you see more flags), and not commit a single penalty in almost a full game?

And I don’t mind calls against the Browns. That’s gonna happen especially with Hue in charge. What I can’t stand is the bad call doesn’t come on 1st and 10 with 6 min left in the first quarter on a 3 yard Hyde run. It comes in OT or at the end of the 4th quarter on a game changing play. It’s almsot clockwork this season, and even non-browns fans are saying it. I went to OU with a bunch of friends from Pittsburgh—they’re incredibly anti-Cleveland but even they were texting me how the browns repeatedly are getting boned by the refs and the nfl this season.

Guess the teams with the winning cultures (NE, Pittsburgh) get the breaks? Browns will have to overcome that and maybe then they will get the calls?

Browns have now ended a game in all 5 possible ways:

regulation win

regulation loss

tie

overtime win

overtime loss

So next game will be a forfeit? :-)

And I agree with you guys on the Ref business. Something is rotten in Denmark. No penalties on the opposing team until late in the 4th Q?

C'mon man!

I don't know how many breaks Pittsburgh's getting, being the most penalized team in the league, but I will agree that you guys are getting the "League office calling to apologize for blowing that big call" shaft a lot this year. Personally, I believe the refs are sucking all around this year because every year, they get this list of stuff they have to focus on for "safety" and it's leading to a situation where legit calls are missed because they're looking for other stuff. I think every team this year has probably gotten at least one ticky-tack call for a hit on the QB that's probably borderline as hell even considering the rule changes there because they're more concerned with enforcing the new rules there than anything else.
