I have a wager with my SIL than we win at least five, so I'll say 6-10

I will also go with 4-12.

- 6-10
- fans get frustrated with Tyrod's lack of deep ball passing
- Baker starts at least 8 games
- Gordon is a disappointment (probably gets suspended again, <700 yds on the season)
- We beat the steelers week 1
- Hue is fired at the end of the season
- We're horrible on 3rd down offense as Hailey continues to be too cute on short yardage
- Duke finishes the season as our leader in receptions
- Garrett gets 12 sacks
I agree with a lot of this, especially the part about Tyrod. Also agree that Gordon won't put up the gaudy numbers that might be expected but I wouldn't have an issue with those numbers if Landry is putting up over 1000.
Going with 4-12 but hoping for better.

Callway starting, Bitonio at LT, and BBC at backup Safety stood out to me.

I was kind of expecting Desmond Harrison to start at LT. Callaway is no surprise to me. This could be one of those deals where Gordon doesn't start but he's on the field the first series if it's 3rd & long.
It's killing me to say this but Grossi, as of late, has gotten much better. He's not coming across like the bitter bitch that should've been Mike Lombardi's siamese twin separated at birth. I agree with these takes:

Eww gross, not clicking out of principal.
I think some of you guys saying baker will play will be pleasantly surprised at how tyrod looks this year. I think he’s a good QB that never had weapons worth a shit in buffalo. He’s got those in Cleveland and a decent OC. I think if everyone stays healthy, he’ll be a top 15 QB this year. Not saying he’s amazing but I watched every buffal game last year because I had him and McCoy on my fantasy team and tyrod is a solid QB. Guy just needs weapons and to stay healthy.

I don't agree here. Knock on the dude is that he's a check down artist and settles for FG's. He's safe with the ball but he's going to leave a lot of points on the field. I don't expect him to come out stretching the field. If he does, he's morphed into a new QB.

Tough to stretch the field if your WRs can’t get open. He’s not checking down because he can’t throw. He’s checking down because his #1 wideout was trash Sammy Watkins.

He's not accurate throwing deep(er) balls.

We’ve already heard your opinion on this a hundred times. I’m just stating mine.

No worries, you're entitled to it. Just saying I don't see this leopard suddenly changing his spots.
If he can produce one TD pass per game, which is about his career average, and the running game can produce 2 TD's (that's saying a lot), they will win a lot of games.
Earlier I put the over/under for the defense at 20 points. If they can hold their opponents under that I think they can win quite a few. Unfortunately, I think this offense, contrary to Jarvis Landry's belief, is going to average about 17 ppg.
A lot of you all are predicting quite the leap for the Browns defense. I hope it happens, but I have my doubts. Let's see how they handle a few regular season games, before we pretend they are going to be amongst the top of the league in terms of points allowed.

A big reason for my optimism is that TT is much safer with the ball. We won't be seeing Kizer giving the opponents 30 yard drives due to stupid turnovers. Not to mention all of the 3 and out's by the offense keeping the D on the field constantly.
Just hoping Garrett snaps TheRapist in half on Sunday. Heard an interview with their LT Villanueva and he's definitely thinking about Myles.

Yup, the Browns could lose the game, but I would be pretty happy if his leg was snapped in half.
BTW....I know most of us dislike LaCanfora but he has Garrett as his early pick for DPOY.

I agree, still have the same pinhead calling the plays. Folks forget just dreadful he was in that regard. Playing in base on obvious passing downs, have Peppers play in Wayne county, CB cushion, etc... I could continue to go on. Just pathetic.
As far as I'm concerned, if Hue wants to keep his job, Sunday is a "must win." Enough of this "moral " bullshit.
I still dont understand this nonsense around the starting LT. It should be Bitonio, EZ.

From what I'm gathering, Bitonio has been "ok" at LT while Corbett has been pretty underwhelming at LG. Sounds like their thought process is that if Bitonio is a 9 out of 10 at LG, but a 6 out of 10 at LT, while Corbett is a 5 out of 10 at LG, you're better off sliding Bitonio back to his natural spot if you feel you have a guy who can man LT that is better at that position than Corbett is at LG.

been a while since we've had to talk about this, eh?
