Raiders dumb as fuck

What in God’s name? Holy crap

That's basically what Liberty did in their bowl game, but they won in OT. Liberty ignored a touchdown to kneel on the ball to eat clock, then tried to score on the next play and fumbled it over to Coastal Carolina. It was just hilariously stupid.

I mean the decision to run it down seemed solid as in only 19 seconds  and needing 50 yards with no timeouts...I feel me and you could contained our side to under a 40 yard gain.

Equals out....Jets gave Raiders a win

To rough the passer as well...unreal way to keep the Browns out of the playoffs.

Basically the decision becomes would you rather give the team 19 seconds needing a fg or 50 seconds needing a TD. I'd rather force a team to go the distance since it becomes a lot harder to pass as the field shrinks. Plus the Raiders would have went for 2 after TD, so a Dolphins TD may have only tied the game depending upon that outcome.

Gave up 55 yards on 1 play with 19 seconds left....they were meant to lose

I think they did the smart thing. I bet 40 yards for a FG try and 19 seconds is a lot harder than a TD with 1:02 left (it was a 1:05 when Carr kneeled) in today’s NFL. No math or numbers to back that up, but sure seems like it’s true.

Carr also kneeled like he snapped with a running clock and only 3 seconds left.

He could’ve killed 2 more seconds easily but didn’t matter because Raiders (and many other athletes) can’t grasp the understanding of how the clock works. You let no one behind you and you force them to the middle. I’m 46 with plantar and I would kept that guy to under 30 yards and towards midfield where safeties tackle him down and that clock runs like mad....maybe time for a spike and a Hail Mary.

A little before half Steelers have 37 yards of offense...and defense is worn the fuck out from the last few weeks of Ben being the worst QB in football in decisive fashion.

It's time to get the Big Ben contingency plan in motion. idgaf if he's committed to next year.

Ben's looking like a beer league softball player trying to step up and get hits off MLB Hall of Famers nowadays. A lot of plays, I get the impression he has no clue where the ball will go when it leaves his hand. Just throw it and hope for the best.

I'd say the silver lining is how there's at least a decent chance they'll back into the division title today, but when it's hard to imagine them winning next week (whether Cleveland has receivers or not) or even being competitive in their playoff game, it doesn't matter.

It’s like he’s lost all mental abilities to be a QB and make throws....it’s baffling.

Has a team ever made the playoffs losing 5 in a row to end the regular season? 4? 3?

The defense is GASSED. Can’t run, bad run scheme, Ben can’t move...or throw....or THINK! Receivers drop a lot and most can’t get open. Kicker out, special team coverage bad.

There are not 5 worse teams in the NFL right now.

T.J. Watt himself might keep them from being THE worst team.

They will be the most rattled team to ever play in the playoffs.....6 quarters to improve or will lose 34-6 in first playoff game

1969 LA Rams w/Roman Gabriel at QB started 11-0 then lost the last 3. Also lost the playoff game.

Woohoo!

NFL is bought off or something.

No rhyme or reason not to throw downfield some the last month...then at 24-7 and after getting stuffed on 4 plays at goal line....then throw it deep and literally never look back.

Though with clock at 2:20 and a first down seals game they run that horse shit wide pass play for 1 yard and punt 🤦🏻‍♂️. Defense was tired....end it there.

Dallas is a win vs the Giants and a Washington loss away from making the playoffs.

And hosting a playoff game (Buccaneers)

Cowboys might go -70 on the season in point differential and host a playoff game against a team that is +130
