As far as I'm concerned, you should be able to bunt anytime you want to and the opponents can just shut their mouths about it.  It's part of the game.

The biggest lol about the Twins thing is they were shifting. If you are gonna shift, NO WAY can you complain about a bunt. Just stop.

Maybe the reason he's off to the fast start is because he's hitting 8th, thus less pressure...also, it's only the first week of the season, and pitchers don't have their 'book' on him yet--so let's reserve canonizing this guy until at least the All Star break...good lord.

We’re you the one last year that growled and said Cody Bellinger would be headed back to the minor leagues.....but instead went on to hit 39 HR with an OPS+ of 141 and finished 9th in MVP race?....while missing the first month?

Ohtani may end up an average pitcher and sub par bench type hitter....but he’s showing special talents and repeating them. Right now he looks like Bryce Harper but also a potential ace pitcher. You can sit around and root for failure. I’m not calling him a HOF or an all-star, I know how it works....but also in a week he has shown elite power, contact, fastball and to go with it a great splitter, curve and near elite speed running.

Right now, he’s must watch.

Astros just won in extra innings on a 20 ft pop up that no one caught. Insane.

Asinine the pitcher can’t go 15 feet to catch a pop up but better to let 1st baseman run 80 feet to try

It really is quite something that the last time a MLB player hit 3 homers in 3 straight games in between pitching starts was in 1918.
