Also, why hasn’t the sheriff from Broward suspended yet?

So is nuance and comprehension apparently.

It appears today's shooting in Maryland ended when a good guy with a gun was able to quickly engage the bad guy with a gun.

Although there is more we do not know yet.

Yep, and this is the way it should always end....with armed guards taking out idiots. Fairly simple solution.

Do we know yet how the 17 year old in Maryland was able to obtain a Glock? Maryland has pretty tough gun laws, and you can't buy a handgun until you're 21 across the entire US anyway.

It's pretty obvious the NRA gave it to him to kill black people and LBGTIAWTFBBQ people.

Good point.  How far is Maryland from Indiana?

What if the Austin bomber was an NRA nut trying to make a point about guns?  Imagine what that would be like at CNN....

I'd imagine that somewhere in the CNN corporate offices, there's at least one person afraid that it'll come out that this kid was anti-NRA or that he was a Democrat.

Disappointed, maybe.  But afraid?   Nahh, they'll just ignore it and run another Trump bimbo story.

And so it begins....http://thehill.com/policy/finance/379788-citibank-to-require-clients-to-place-restrictions-on-gun-sales

“We have waited for our grief to turn into action and see our nation adopt common-sense measure that would help prevent firearms form getting into the wrong hands. "

I wonder what that would be, specifically?  We already have tons of gun laws, on top of tons of laws dealing with criminal behavior ........but the deranged do not care about those laws.

Citibank = political correctness = bad policy

LMAO.  Don't worry.  IF (and that's a huge if) this policy has any actual teeth....rest assured Walmart is going to sell guns, and there will be plenty of banks lining up to do business with Walmart if Citibank doesn't want to.

You all talk about free markets, but when the FREE MARKET does something you don't like, then you want to legislate against it.  Comically ironic.

That's why we don't have a true free market in this country.

Wal-Mart already changed its age limit to 21. Citibank just did the same.

They all SAID they’d do something. I’ll believe it when I see it. Dicks just had a horrendous quarter and today a higher up doubled down on gun control. Really stupid

Do you have any idea how many banks there are?  Do you have any idea how many places you can buy guns?

This is chicken-little bullshit.  And I have zero issue with a private business deciding this for themselves.  I wouldn't care if Walmart decided not to sell any guns at all.

Apparently some of the Stoneman students aren't happy with new policies requiring clear backpacks and wearing their student IDs. One asked "why are we all being punished for the actions of one individual"? Great question. With that level of hypocrisy, I see a long future for this student as a member of Congress.

Lol complained about bookbags and IDs while wanting to limit the freedoms of an entire country. Those students are idiots and are why 16 year olds can’t vote.

I don't care what Dick's, Walmart or big-name places such as that do. I've bought all of my guns from local outfitters.

Agreed. I don't care what Dick's (and Field & Stream) sell or don't sell. I did decide I wouldn't spend any money in their stores after their pathetic plea for congress to institute an assault weapons ban. As for banks, at the very least I doubt USAA stops doing business with gun retailers.
