Florida gun grabber justifying the bullying of the shooter.

Justifying the bullying of the shooter, or responding to Trump's tweet suggesting no one did enough to report Cruz's disturbing behaviors?

what totally gets me is that these kids could have said hi to him or been in a class group with him or invited him to a birthday party.  Maybe all he wanted was kindness and they failed to give it to him

Maybe he is a sociopath and maybe you shouldn't be blaming the victims.

Thousands of kids every year for decades have been ignored or mistreated and not shot up their schools because of it. Hope this helps.

We could drive to school during hunting season with shotguns on our gun racks in the truck, carry a pocket knife from the age of 9 years old to school every day. So what was it that has change, what is so different now than back then (1950-60-70-80… Is there just one factor or many???

When ever there is a problem, failure or issue to look for the solution you must get back to “basics”.

Let start with “parenting” More parent involvement and training

School…. Christian Pray, Pledge Allegiance, Competition, Community… activities requirements

Administration…. Programs for all, lesson on tape, computers and tutors, creative teaching, vocational education, data base with law authorities and mental/social serves support …….

Military Draft …

State control education ..

Just to start with

Um, yes? It is. I don't suspect that's the answer she thinks it is.

Without freedom, what safety is there?

Doesn't matter.

I'm not saying that bullying and/or ostracism can't fuel the feelings that were indulged by a shooter, but action is always, always, always the responsibility of the actor (assuming they're acting as a free-will agent).

Murders are to be blamed on the murderers.

Rapes are to be blamed on the rapists.

Thefts are to be blamed on the thieves.

Now, are there things we can do to protect ourselves against being victims of those things?  Sure.  But the actions are, at the end of the day, still entirely on those committing them.  The victims don't share the blame.

Compulsory? That would be an emphatic NO on those two. You have a natural right to peacefully practice any religion you wish, not just Christianity. And the Pledge of Allegiance, if my history is correct, was written by a Socialist flag-maker to boost sales.

Military Draft …

Selective service is still a thing, is it not? Everyone has to register as far as I know. That said, conscription is an abhorrent practice that basically strips you of your natural rights and says the government owns your person. Again, an emphatic NO on that one.

Only men have to register.

"Don't blame the gun, blame the person....wait, don't even blame the person, blame every person around him!!!!!"

Damn, CC, even on the rare time where you might start with a logical, rational point (the first half of that statement), your dumb ass will find a way to fuck it up. If someone kills a bunch of people, it's his fault. End discussion. It's not the fault of the victims because they weren't nice enough to the fucked up dipshit who started shooting because he wasn't universally beloved.

Let me see if I understand this....

If a social misfit shoots himself, we blame the kids who bullied him (maybe even prosecute them).  If instead he shoots the kids who bullied him....then they are now blameless?

Those signs are pretty shocking (and alarming).  But I suppose this is typical regardless of the cause - protests always seem to attract people who aren't just ignorant but ALSO stupid (and usually obnoxious about it, too).

If only those who are carrying signs saying "I want to take your guns" meant it instead of "I want to hire a bully (government) to take your guns". Have some guts, stop by the house, tell me why you're here, and let's see how it works out.

my point that has been debated here in many of your posts was pointed to the fact that all these kids (and the adults that are in their ears) are pointing fingers at the wrong cause (guns).  They want to blame the whole thing on guns.  Hell they arent even blaming the shooter in any of this.  I am casting a net over everything that doesnt deal with the "guns"

We have 2 issues being ignored here....mental health and a changing social environment in schools that tie the hands of the adults to treat kids with strict rules and punishments.  The state and federal governement has screwed up the institutions so much that we end up with a warped social environment where kids feel like they need to do these things

Pretty sure she is the one who rounded up these students to start their war on guns to begin with. She sucks.

Background checks, if used, won't stop these either. And like 40 of the states don't report all of the things in the first place. Stop fucking introducing new laws until current laws are followed and fail.
