Saw where AOC chimed in on this...basically telling Feinstein - one of the party leaders - that AOC is in charge and the establishment needs to get in line.  It's almost like she WANTS to ruin her political career before it even gets started....or maybe she's not as dumb as she acts, and this is all just about raising her profile so she can land a $500k job at CNN or MSNBC.  But good for AOC - she found a good paying gig where being smart is completely irrelevant.

“Yup. If you don’t like the #GreenNewDeal, then come up with your own ambitious, on-scale proposal to address the global climate crisis,” she said.

“Until then, we’re in charge – and you’re just shouting from the cheap seats,” she said.

AOC is going to train cows to stop farting.

Then she she can try and do the same to Al Gore and Trump.

All are large, gassy beasts releasing a lot of sulphuric smelling CO2.

I saw a week or two ago there are already rumors that the dems might redistrict her district to get her out of there.  I think she acknowledged this herself.  She signed that $10M Netflix deal (the irony), so she is straight.

As if making up a law that says you have to get a background check to sell a gun will make people actually use it. It's so dumb. Enforce the current laws on the books. Adding bullshit laws that wouldn't have stopped any of these shootings is just doing something to do something. Trump already said he'd veto it. So good for him.

Lol Ilhan Omar said in a Rolling Stone article that Trump should be impeached because he is close to a dictator. Bc lowering taxes, cutting regulations, and supporting gun ownership sounds just like a dictator. Some of these elected officials are true morons.

Medicare is going bankrupt.

Let’s do ‘medicare for all’.

Makes perfect sense.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone do this comparison, but I think outlays for Medicare are approximately equal to the outlay for Social Security.  Yet, our SS contribution are roughly 5X what our Medicare contributions are.  So we are severely underfunding this social insurance program.

It's going to be fun watching millenials on the "free shit" train meltdown when they get the bill.  None of this stuff would be remotely popular if people understood it means they'll pay twice as much in taxes.

AOC unintentionally made a somewhat valid argument when she claimed single payer would be a "net" savings.  Only problem is that's not free - whatever you pay now, directly or indirectly thru your employer, is what funds her program.  And, second, nothing the govt does is hardly ever cheaper.  It's just another wealth transfer.  Let's say it makes healthcare 10% more expensive, and then you have to cover the 20% who get "free" healthcare....which works out to most people paying like 30% more.

RECORD SURGE AT BORDER...
Illegal immigration at worst rate in decade...
Invasion intensifies...

200 Cases of Mumps in Texas Detention Centers...
ICE giving pregnancy tests to all girls over nine...

Move along, nothing to see here.

In 2014 the dems all agreed we had a crisis.  Today it is far worse, but no crisis.

Their hypocrisy is staggering.  Their hateful resistance is inflicting untold damage upon the nation.

Not sure where to put this, because I doubt Repubs would be much different in a similar situation...

But no better example of how useless and ineffective Congress is than the Dems debating whether to censure Omar, and caving to simply "condemn all forms of hate".....and can't even agree on that.  Which, by the way, is like disagreeing over a resolution saying "water is wet".

Or "how wet is water."

Lately, Congress reminds me of the medieval scholastics arguing over how to sanctify a cat and whether or not angels have mass.

Remember when they get mad when people said "All lives matter", that's basically what they are doing here. What a waste of time. It's funny though, they are saying a 40 year old woman is too dumb to know what she is saying. Sure.

I don't even think what she has been saying is Anti-Semitic, but this has been a real dumb news story

What "they" are saying is that:

1.) It's all about the Benjamins
2.) Dual loyalties

are both dog whistles to antisemitism. The first one I can understand about the trope that all Jews are rich and politically powerful. The second one I don't know enough about and haven't bothered to look into it.

Well, there's a hierarchy of identity politics on the Left....and Jewish is below Muslim.

Antisemitism is very common among adherents to the Religion of Peace.  I'm surprised she let this slip out and I would guess it is only a tiny tip of her true thoughts on Jews.  In many countries where the Religion of Peace is mandatory or predominant, Jew hatred is a subject taught in primary school.

A very beautiful faith.

This is all no different as another cop was shot today. It does make the news for one cycle and goes away when the person is white.. when the suspect is an immigrant the right goes crazy. Same as if the suspect is black. U can predict it exactly on party lines. It’s insulting to me for people to comment on racism against Jews for politics but ignore everyday random racism in their own country

Do you not see how it’s different? One is preventable, one isn’t. It’s also insulting to pretend to care about gun violence except for the main cause of it (and gtfo with including suicides).

Population density?

Some of that doesn't seem to be able to be helped.

Well gangs. But my point was just to bring up how people freak during these random shootings but don't talk about the majority of gun crimes happen as a response to geeblock saying people only care when an immigrant kills a cop.

That's fair.  Gun crime is unfortunately too commonplace to get outraged over every one.  If we did, we'd never do anything else.  We wouldn't have time.

So one gets occasionally thrown into the lime light, and we all get up in arms about it.  Then, a day passes, and people stop talking about it.

I find it interesting that u associate gun violence with gangs. That really doesn’t cover mass shootings and school shootings which is what comes to my mind first. From what I read most of these cop shootings have been by white men that weren’t in gangs so far in 2019 which is why it hasn’t gotten much coverage. Had it been the international gang ms13 or an immigrant or other gangs the president would have probably even tweeted about it as would Candace Owens. People care about things right in party lines.. when kaep was kneeling everyone had police profile pics but now no one cares unless the above mentioned situations happens. If that makes sense
