The bottom line – AOC and other liberals champion $15 / hour wages; then sabotage thousands of $150,000 jobs. Special kind of hypocrisy and stupidity there.
Another fun tidbit:
Those championing $15/hr minimum wages and the rich paying their "fair share" are quick to point to countries like Sweden and Norway as evidence that socialism can work.
Both Sweden and Norway: flat tax and no minimum wage

This is interesting: https://twitter.com/ZachG932/status/1098403734139355136
43% of Democrats vs. 70% of Republicans think that people "should be allowed to express unpopular opinions in public, even those that are deeply offensive". Strikingly, a similar proportion of Democrats support speech restrictions (39%).
By far the most supportive of speech restrictions are--wait for it--white liberals and democrats in the 18-29 age category.
The whole thread is full of data and graphs and comparable data from a few years prior. I have to say that Jon Haidt (and others) has been pointing out thoroughly researched reasons why this is happening with millenials and the oldest crop of Gen Z. The youngest crop of Gen Z is expected to be far less authoritarian.

The left hates free speech, and it’s scary. That’s why I’m not sure why some of the right leaning libertarians on here are looking for a dem to vote for. They have nothing going for them.

I can't really speak for anybody but as far as myself - I think I'm just keeping my options open. Fiscally I'm conservative but that is really just an idea at this point in time and not reality. I'm socially liberal, but that doesn't mean I support/enable biology deniers, for example. Because of all of this, I think it's best to take a look at both sides and see what others are pushing out.
Believe it or not I'm appreciative that Trump wants to bring exported jobs back to the states but I don't think he's doing a good job of that despite all of the links that QO posts.
I like that Tulsi Gabbard wants to get out of the certain wars but I'm not sold on her otherwise.
I like the idea that Biden would be able to stand up to Trump at least for a little while but he's not selling me anything else other than a good showdown.
Bernie can go fuck himself. Same with Kamala, Booker and Warren. Klobuchar, who?
So here I am, stuck looking at something and everything that I don't want and itty bitty parts that I do. It's literally a puke kaleidoscope. Meh.

If someones twitter affects your life you have more issues to worry about them who is President.
This is one of those "even a broken clock is right twice a day" moments for CC. Gblock needs a life if he is being serious. I can't tell if he is.

Because either way we’re fucked. Dems/repubs it doesn’t matter. They all suck. But at least with a dem I wouldn’t have to hear Trump mumble his way through a pointless speech, or read his illiterate tweets, or listen to crying liberals blame everything on him, or listen to redneck idiots like CC defend his every move like he’s their favorite basketball team’s best player.
Sure there’d be other things that would start to annoy me, but it can’t be that bad.

Plus itd be funny to watch hacks like Trevor Noah try and keep their stupid shows afloat when they don’t have trump to rip on for 90% of their show. Be funny to watch them crumble in front of our eyes because they aren’t capable of writing actual jokes.

This sums up the last presidency (minus the tweets) and future presidency. Politics is unbearable.
I disagree though, we are more fucked if a socialist democratic party has power over fake conservatism republicans.

You corrected his grammar but you were wrong. Affect is a verb, effect is a nown. His twitter account affects you, but the effect should be small (see the difference?).
Typo (I assume), but someone is going to call this out lol.

Meh. Goes both ways. People said if trump’s president the world would end, wed turn into a dictatorship, etc. none of that happened. If a socialist gets elected everyone would freak out that we’d all start making the same amount of money or minimum wage would be $60 an hour. None if it would happen.
I’m just at the point where I couldn’t give two fucks less about amaerican politics.
