Proving once again you can't actually read and comprehend simple posts.

It's like you get triggered by the first few words, and then god knows what you think you actually read after that.

Funny how you just ignore the 1st part of the post. You are the one that says you are getting annoyed, which coming from a dude is something.

If you are someone else wants to make that post, go for it. The replies would be something.

Let me put it another way, a lot of women around the country are worried and upset, but gut finds it really annoying he has to read about on LinkedIn.

Empathy isn't your strong suit as evidence of several of your recent posts on school shootings, guns, and the abortion debate.

Regardless of everything else, as a professional, I’d never post anything on linked in that isn’t specific to my job. Even if I think my company is cool with my opinion.

I'm really getting annoyed with politics constantly popping up in my LinkedIn feeds.

Personally, regardless of your politics I would recommend against broadcasting your beliefs to your entire professional network (plus, all their networks).

I wonder how many people you'd trigger if you posted "today we celebrated the 40th anniversary of my mom not getting an abortion".

Same, LinkedIn is supposed to be the one place with no politics. I just scroll past quickly or sometimes make a comment about this site supposed to be about business networking and not politics.

Either ptown doesn’t know what LinkedIn actually is or he is just going off the rails again.

So which is it?

If only there was a place on the internet where people needing emotional support could connect and correspond with family and friends...As if there is any shortage of empathy on the internet, but if people need assurances from anonymous posters, I'm going to suggest that's not a "me" problem.

Everyone else can discuss policy without assuming people that disagree with them don't care about dead kids or cancer patients that can't get insurance.  Most everyone else on this board relies on logic, rather than emotional appeals, when discussing these topics.  Doesn't mean they don't care, there's just nothing to discuss because there's no disagreement.  You wrongly - over and over - equate lack of discussion with not caring.  And no matter how many times you get corrected, you KEEP doing it.

But you can't even properly read and understand a simple post, so maybe intellectual discourse is not your thing.  In fact, you can stop wasting your time all together trying to guess what I believe based on what I haven't written.

Bonus points scolding me for being annoyed about a post on abortion even though that's not what I wrote.  That's typical of your dishonest approach to debate - you make up a strawman and then try to shame that person for holding a belief that you alone attribute to them.

Sidenote: A "dude getting annoyed by abortion posts" is something, huh?  That view is both amoral and sexist, and I really thought you would have known better.

But let me work on that empathy bit....I'm sorry that you are struggling so badly with basic reading comprehension.  Thoughts & prayers.

I’m annoyed that you go on LinkedIn for anything other than finding a job. 🤣

LinkedIn is far more than just finding jobs. Networking, keeping up on advances in your industry, etc.

Abortion has never been in the constitution. Interstate travel, state laws being different, interstate trade and commerce is in the constitution and has been routinely upheald.

You have never been able to be arrested for doing something that is legal in one state yet illegal in yours.

Think gambling, illegal in every state but Nevada and NJ for decades, Ohio couldn’t arrest you for flying to Vegas and gambling.

Same for flying to Colorado to smoke weed when they were the only ones that it was legal. No state could arrest you when you got back because you had FB posts smoking weed while in Colorado.

It’s not only constitutional law but common sense.

Yes, I graduated from Hiland in 1991.  Coach was just behind my dad and grandpa as major male figures in my life.

My grandma went to school at the old Amish school house just down the road a couple of miles on RT 39.  I grew up just a little over a mile behind it.  Grandma literally walked to school uphill both ways.

Had great sports teams again this year. I think there were 3 Miller’s and 3 Yoder’s in their baseball lineup and 4 of 5 starters on basketball team. Both went to state or just missed.

I do agree with common sense. I’m not real big on basing decisions on the fact that something wasn't mentioned in the constitution or not. Let’s be honest they didn’t have it all figured out. They couldn’t get slavery right and didn’t mention women at all. So the fact abortion or anything about womens right not being there shouldn’t be interpreted as it wouldn’t be something they wouldn’t support today. They wanted their guns And they wanted to be free from govt and have their freedom to Practice religion as they saw fit, but they certainly were lacking in many areas.

If it’s not specifically said in the Constitution there are two options.

Amendment process, which we did for things like women, slavery, civil rights, etc.

Or

Let the states decide for themselves as described in the 10th Amendment.

That’s it, can’t legislate from the bench like the original Roe v Wade decision was. Even Ruth B Ginsburg said as much, that she believed in a woman’s right to choose but that it should have been codified law by Congress and the original Roe v Wade decision was wrong for the SCOTUS to make.

Congress is so dysfunctional they have lost all power. Most important “legislation” is now done by Executive Orders and by the bench/SCOTUS which is 100% unconstitutional (the EOs and legislation by bench).

Fair to say that Justice Thomas has already saved more black lives than BLM ever has.

I wonder if Gblock was offended by Hillary's comments.  Or, I'm guessing, he gave her a pass for criticizing Justice "Uncle" Thomas.
