Nice to see Trump’s strategy working in less than 48 hours.  Mexicans already blocking Central American immigrants at the Guatemala border.

About time we have someone that gets stuff done

May jobs +75,000.

QO spin:  "So many people are employed in the Trump economy there's no one left to fill vacancies!!!!"

Everyone else: "Wouldn't that be an argument for MORE immigration then?"

More legal immigration of people who bring value/willingness to work hard absolutely.

The problem is the left believes those swimming across the river illegally will be the ones that fill these voids and its just asinine.

Several things:

The trend is still about +180,000 per month.

It IS getting extremely difficult to find employees due to: robust economy; drug test fails; obama welfare package.

Most are for MORE LEGAL immigration; LESS ILLEGAL immigration.

One move by Trump threatening Mexico with tariffs, and 6,000 Mexican troops show up on the Guatemala border.

Go Orange.

Gotta admit, his ability to withstand the 24/7 onslaught is simply remarkable, especially at his age.

He doesn't really "withstand it".  He seeks much of it out with his quotes and tweets..  He clearly loves being the center of media criticism.  If his name's being mentioned, regardless of context, he's a happy boy.  He is a first-rate self-promoter.

The one thing I've always said, in all seriousness, that he's amazing at.  Dude is one of the best self-promoters there is.

Now, that's obviously easier when you're willing to lie, but to lie with the unwavering appearance of conviction like that ... that's still an impressive skill.

Yeah, you’re right ………what’s he up to now, around 12,000?

To be fair, probably 1/3 of those lies have turned out to be true....fact-checking him based on NYT/WaPo articles isn't exactly scientific.

95% of Orange Man's "lies" are him simply spouting off without the facts. While I certainly get that having an uninformed POTUS isn't anywhere close to ideal, the "ZOMG DRUMPF LIEZZZZ" schtick is pretty silly.

Ech.  He is smart, yes.  He's also crooked.  I did some of the fundraising strategy for his campaign in 2012.  He was even in one a few calls himself.  Guy's a snake.

Sure.  Yeah, I'm not talking about the normal nonsense he fires off from podiums or even Twitter.

Also, my reference to lies in response to the "12,000" comment wasn't serious.  I mean, we know he's lied about elements of his personal and professional life from before he was even sniffing a bid for the presidency, but I was just throwing things out there.

Frankly, those people tend to give him far too much credit, I think.  They make him out to be some sociopathic criminal mastermind, hellbent on installing a monarchy.

He's not.  He's more like a teenager.  Still lying or talking out of his ass at times, but mostly in ways that are harmless or so transparent that it really doesn't affect anything significant.

I would add that a large number of Americans are sick of politicians spouting off scripted talking points which are actually 95% lies as opposed to a dude throwing shit up against the wall.

That's a good analogy, too.

Funny how the media narratives about Trump have sticking power with the collective idiots.  He is racists, he lies, he acts like a baby, his WH is in turmoil.........give me a break.

They have to talk themselves into their own narratives.  The notion that 150,000 people RSVP’d to a rally, and started lining up 40 hours in advance is frosting on the cake of their  debilitating mental stress to the degree they should claim disability from their ‘profession’.

I am sure that Iran is trying to interfere with our elections coming up by shooting down that drone.  I am sure they would love to see him lose

I'm sure the Left will blame Trump for canceling Obama's agreement, while the Right will blame Obama for a weak agreement that needed replaced.

For the Repubs, whatever Trump's response is will be "the right decision", while Obama in the same situation would have been "feckless".

We know one thing, history has already written the chapter on Obama, the Iran deal was a bad one.  POlitically motivated and likely part of a crime.

Was it really?  Lindsay Graham today was saying if Iran fires things back up that they would be days away from being a real nuclear threat.  Which doesn't make it sound like Obama's deal wasn't working.
