It’s pretty dumb for him to lie and say parents were asking him to get the remains of their children back from the Korean War. The war ended in 1953. Most vets of this war are 90+. Their parents would be over 100. It’s cool to say you want to get remains back, but why lie? Does he think we can’t count?

Happy Birthday, Mr. President

This is so apropos.  After all, Marilyn said it when she was on the president's nuts, too.

there is no way the dems can win anything with these numbers

Unless people like Soros are spending their life fortune [he is] to support liberal candidates.

Seriously, I wonder if measuring mico-advertising (say ad spend in Ohio) isn't a way to successfully correct polling margin of error to almost zero.  I bet if you outspend your opponent enough you can swing the vote 2% or more.

But can that be true after the Trump election?

Hillary outspent Trump, HOWEVER Trump got BILLIONS in free exposure from the media which may have given him a signficant advantage over Hillary.  Say what you want about Trump, the guy knows how to use the media.  To some extent I think he blew kind of a fake dog whistle, one which triggerd the libtards in the media to cover him, but his voters didn't imagine the same racism/misogyny/etc in the messaging.

I also find Trey Gowdy's reaction to the IG report pretty telling.  Literally in the days leading up to this report, he was defending the DOJ and appeared to be rebuking some comments coming out of the WH.  But he was pretty pissed off after getting a look at the IG report.

But Gowdy has to be angling to be the next Attorney General, right?

It's pretty simple; the left wing media is criticizing Trump, which means had obama done it they would be praising him.

And yes, that is how fucked up they are, all driven by personal hatred.

Get in the game.

Watching democrats criticize Trump is comical considering that had Obama met Kim, they'd be stepping all over themselves to congratulate him.  AT THE SAME TIME - and consistent with your never seeing any fault in the right - had Obama met with Kim, republicans, Limbaughs, Hannitys, etc would have hard-ons about calling him a commie sympathizer.  There are no two ways about it - hypocrisy knows no political sides.  Something you struggle mightily with.

I don't really disagree, but this case is a bad example.  Once NK demonstrated capability and a path toward ICBMs, the calculus changed and even many of the neocons who would oppose meeting Kim had to acknowledge it was necessary.

Also, I don't recall Obama for being criticized meeting with Iran, or others before him.  The Iran deal had it's critics, on both sides of the aisle, actually.

If you want to point out the hypocrisy/double standards, look no further than the tariff/trade talk.  The right had always been for free markets, and protectionism is a 90's Dem platform (i.e. "fair" trade).  Yeah, Hannity and Rush would be absolutely hammering Obama if he had done the same thing.

Federal receipts to the Treasury for Jan - May are up 2% compared to last year (no surprise, happens every time rates are cut, despite liberal propaganda).

You do realize the majority of those tax receipts are the 2017 tax code, before the cuts went into effect?

A small portion would pertain to April (just the incremental between years), but withholding was changed in Feb along with all ES payments.  Hence, the vast majority would relate to current year policy.

Everything that happens in the world is dependent upon the political party of the sitting president.  There are no other factors.

Despite President Trump's tit-for-tat trade barbs, America’s CEOs are not wasting anytime in taking advantage of his tax reform plan. Over $300 billion was repatriated to the U.S. in the first quarter, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) -- the most on record.
