333 - I'm only half evil

Some of you all get rattled by Fox News (disclaimer: i dont watch fox news... just wanted to get that out of the way, before it I am accused of being a Fox News stan), but they aren't even close to ever dominating the national discussion.  I can't think of a time in the last 10 years, where Fox News (or the smaller conservative media outlets) dominated any discussion nationally. Can anyone?

Not necessarily defending FOX here, but have they ever proudly and forcefully coerced an average citizen like a left news organization did? Not asking like_that this question, just asking in general.

 https://www.cnn.com/2017/07/04/politics/kfile-reddit-user-trump-tweet/index.html

CNN is not publishing "HanA**holeSolo's" name because he is a private citizen who has issued an extensive statement of apology, showed his remorse by saying he has taken down all his offending posts, and because he said he is not going to repeat this ugly behavior on social media again. In addition, he said his statement could serve as an example to others not to do the same.

CNN reserves the right to publish his identity should any of that change.

CNN tracked down and threatened to dox this guy, knowing that it could cause him his livelihood at least and physical harm at worst - because of a fucking joke.

On a separate note, did anybody see that NYU professor who doxxed 1,500+ ICE agents? Imagine taking the time to do all of that. He then sent the info to various antifa groups.

https://americansecuritytoday.com/nyu-professor-releases-personal-info-1600-ice-agents/

Wouldn't or shouldn't people like this be considered a dangerous liability to universities and colleges?

"If you see anybody from that Cabinet — in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station — you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” implored California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters at a Saturday rally..."

Imagine if your congressional representative said that about any of obama's cabinet members.

Let's see - just off the top of my head,

More BS, I mean Boatshoes.  Half of that is last week from your friends on the left, and the other half is another false equivalency.  Heck the above doesn't even fill Bill Maher's show each week.

It's not equal and it's not comparable.  The left has lost it's shit.  It's leadership is vile and calling for violence.  There is absolutely no comparison with the Republican Party, aside from Trump.

Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Diane Feinstein, Wasserman-Schultz, Harry Reid, Elizabeth Warren....these are just awful, hateful people.  And they lead the Democrat party (fortunately a few are gone, but a lot of house cleaning left to be done).  Nevermind the nutjob celebs running their mouths.

But but but it's ok because Sarah Palin once said something about the 2nd Amendment.

People like Maxine Waters pretend to be tolerant and compassionate, but the reality is they wish harm on people they disagree with.  That's fascism.  And it comes from leaders of the liberal cause.  This is the real threat to Democracy, not Donald Trump.

And they said they were "going to take the high road".

If it weren't for lying, they would have nothing to say.

Why would anyone want to take the high road when confronted by a president who doesn't even know what a high road is? In today's divisive political environment, that would just amount to Trump taking unlimited shots at everyone he has any disagreement with and them just sitting back, taking it and looking like little bitches in the process. Her comments were over the line, but compared to what Trump says/tweets, it's just another step in the natural progression of how things have been going.

Going back to the Sarah Sanders/Red Hen restaurant thing... Apparently DC has it's own human rights code (thanks to Tim Pool).

https://ohr.dc.gov/protectedtraits

12. Political affiliation: belonging to or supporting a political party

17. Source of Income (applies to housing, public accommodations and educational institutions): origination of a person’s finances

So, I think it is fair to say that the owners of restaurants in DC could find themselves in the middle of a nuclear sewer, if they want to make a trend out of kicking people who don't politically think like you out of your business. No doubt some right wing activist will jump at the chance.

I am merely quoting the left and their campaign mantra ..... "when they take the low road; we'll take the high road"

Just another campaign lie, I guess.

Anyone defending any action or dialogue that Maxine Waters is spewing right now is an idiot.

Schumer and Pelosi actually came out to indirectly condemn that type of rhetoric.  Unsurprisingly, there are people on the left who are pissed about it.  Just another example of the not so secret divide that is occurring with the Democrats.   It's interesting to watch how far left the DNC is willing to go to placate these idiots, meanwhile they are subtly making rules to try and prevent Bernie from running.

Scary that the new left has a problem with what Pelosi said, who is already far left. I think this is the piece you have missed Boogie, is that the left has gone from moderate, to far left, to completely nuts, and it is more mainstream than you let yourself believe.

I don’t dispute there are plenty of left wing extremists - including some holding elected office. What I dispute is that the “left” or the “right” are these monolithic entities that move in coordinated lockstep. The abundance of news that exists today is filled with specific stories that distort reality.

Maxine Waters is low for her comments, no doubt about it. Our president says divisive and hateful things too. Neither of them are representative of the reality the rest of us live.

CNN is condoning it by merely covering it the way they are.  Mass coverage of the video and comments like "look, Trump said things before that are divisive"

that is condoning it,

WTF.......the whole country should go "apeshit" about a US citizen getting harrassed for no fault of her own as they are just going about their day.  So I guess you condone these behaviors?

I simply don't care and there are more important things going on.

I don't think it is proper to wear hats in proper dinning establishments, but that's just me.

She went to a different Red Hen restaurant in Alexandria, VA outside of the Federal District completely unaffiliated with the Red Hen in D.C. the D.C. restaurant has been handling the shit storm pretty well I think considering they are taking a ton of shit when it wasn't even their restaurant lol.

Maxine Waters - a radical left liberal from a completely safe L.A. district has never pretended to be tolerant or compassionate of conservatives. She called George H.W. Bush a racist for heaven's sake.

The reality is that we have illiberal anti-consensus elements rising to power and being given a greater voice on both the left and the right that seemingly get worse with each presidential election.
