You're right about that.  Biden is a mediocre candidate at best though.  He also seems to be somewhat senile at times as well.  Debates between he and Trump will be entertaining as hell.

Grab your popcorn.  In whatever way US politics wasn't yet a circus, it is now.

Biden has gotten worse before our eyes. I don't think him or Bernie would look very good vs. Trump (not that he even looks good) in a debate.

After yesterday’s result, I take back saying Bloomberg was the only hope for the Dems. Now I believe that it’s going to be Biden and he HAS to have Bernie supporters help or it will be a Trump romp.

Never gonna happen.  The DNC had everyone drop to elect Biden.  Then had the largest Superpac get behind Warren (who claimed superpacs were evil lol) and stay in to siphon votes from Bernie. And they think people are dumb enough to not notice it. Obviously Bernie bros will be pissed and sit out. Trump wins easily.

At this point, I'd call it two.

Why do people keep forgetting about Tulsi?

LOL, I see the DNC is going to change the rules to keep her off the debate stage.  I wish we could see what would happen with a smaller field and Tulsi actually getting a chance to speak and be noticed.

If the sight of those two geriatrics slurring their words and stumbling their way through insults while attempting to persuade everyone they're the best of the bunch as far as future leadership goes doesn't convince people that something desperately needs fixed in our system, absolutely nothing will.

You're going to have Donald Trump questioning another candidate's mental fitness.  What's so alarming about that?!?

Yep.  By a wider margin than last time.

And he'll even win the popular vote this time around (which will get all the 'Electoral College evil' people in a snit).

Almost.  It'd be way cooler if he won the popular vote and lost the electoral college.  I enjoy watching the partisan hacks flip-flop and pretend they aren't hippocritical idiots.

For all his faults, Biden is "safe".  He's someone people who despise Trump can vote for.  Trump's margin in 2016 was razor thin, and I think more than a few people voted for him hoping he wasn't actually the 3rd grade bully he appeared to be.

But I also think he's picked-up some voters with a good economy.  And I'll stand by the fact history shows most people don't turnout to vote against someone - you have to give them a reason to come out and vote for you.

I take the last few days as not only the Party decides, but the voters were finally like ok, now we know who to back. (I've heard this directly from my wife and friends that live in VA that voted for Biden yesterday after being undecided)

The moderate and somewhat liberal wing of the party never wanted Bernie, but they were so fragmented they could not figure out who to support. Biden was the obvious choice 6 months ago looking at national polls. But, his poor showing in Iowa, Bloomberg getting in the mix, and the appeal of the others muddied. So, now that the party basically said ok, enough is enough we do not want socialist Bernie that is not a Democratic. The voters agreed and here we are with Biden the frontrunner and likely the nominee for the D.

Bernie should be pissed, but honestly, he asked for it. He is one to burn down the party, not work with it. His ideas are also batshit crazy and there was no way the party was going to get fully behind them. I was thinking last night listening to Bernie, if he wins the Presidency, who the hell wants to work in his administration? He has burned so many bridges, there will be no Ds left to staff his cabinet.

If Biden can win Michigan next week, then Ohio the week after, I think it is probably over.

I actually think Trump v. Biden will be extremely close. I think Biden can win back PA and MI, leaving it down to WI and maybe AZ.

I think people will be more likely to vote for Biden than Clinton as people actually like Biden and people hated Clinton.

LOL  You and I both know that neither Tulsi nor Warren have a snowball's chance in hell.  The party is down to two of the three old, white men.

Oh, I hope this happens.  The truth is, I'm not even sure it would result in scrambling.  The talking heads would just pretend they never spent the previous several years defending the exact opposite position.  Fucking hacks, but damn if that wouldn't make for great TV.  I'd keep the news on in my office all day every day for weeks.  It'd be spectacular.

In other news, after Super Tuesday, John McAfee has dropped out from the Libertarian race and backed Vermin Supreme.

Because of fucking course the guy obsessed with anal sex backs Vermin Supreme.

To the Republicans and Democrats whose parties are turning into a shit show, welcome to the party.  The food is good, and the entertainment is hilarious.

I don't think so.  Trump didn't win the popular vote last time, so I don't think he's set up to be a big runaway winner.  Trump's supporters are still the same bloc, and the anti-Trumpers are too.  The only segment left is people who truly judge one over the other and I think that will be a close vote.

Just because Libertarians are cool with drugs doesn't mean one should abuse them.

So, Trump says something to influence the SCOTUS and the Dems/Media have full-on meltdown.

Chuck Schumer threatens Kavanaugh and Gorsuch and not a single leftwing source even covers it (at least not on the first page or two of google search).

OK, there is an article from NBC on Roberts slamming Schumer, and a couple articles from TheHill.com

What a waste of hundreds of millions.

I don't know about that. If he valued what he was doing, who's to say.

He would have been a good candidate in the sense that his professional accomplishments are light years beyond either Biden or Trump.

Amazing thing is, when you think about having $60B, is his money probably made the $600M or whatever he spent in the 3 months he spent it.

It would be hilarious when Trump taunts him if Bloomberg shot back "I'm sure that sounds like a lot of money to a mini-billionaire like yourself".

I like Vermin, he runs as a satirical candidate but is decent when he's being serious.

He did say that he already had a VP, but that McAfee could be his President of Vice.

I'm all in for Jacob Hornberger, though.

100% for sure that Biden will offer Trump to a good ole fist fight.  I can hear it in now:

I mean as a society. Rich people wasting their money for bullshit jobs when they could be helping people is obscene. He doesn’t get to decide if his garbage ass run was worth it or not. But instead, us normal people should pay for poors instead of fucks like him. Fuck that. I’d say same as Trump, but he decided on tax cuts instead, vs Biden saying f you your taxes are going up
