There is no question that in the next week and a half, Reno has some serious work to do. We seemed to regress from the Cambridge scrimmage to the Lake scrimmage. I hope that Reno will consider changing quarterbacks. The backup is better and Pierro is a good receiver which is what we really need.

I'm curious to know how Lake will do this season. I don't have high expectations for Cambridge, but Lake should go far.

I'll give you credit for that one coyotes.Good one!!!!

big red needs alot of work both offensively and defensively.....the offense did not look too good.defense was okay, but gave up some passes and runs....the back-up qb is definitely better, but will reno want to pull piero out of the starting qb position? I sure hope so,or it may be a very long season

We will know next week what kind of season we will have. If we lose to Inkster, it will be a very tough year.

Yes, the league that wont accept your trashy school. 14-7. Coyotes, has JT found a new school yet? Maybe he could come back to mASSillon and help coach?

Or drive your cars...they will get vandalized...that's what we do in Massillon. If you can't walk...I suggest you try tricking us by placing a Tigers sticker on your car somewhere in view so we don't know you are Big Red fans.

We in Massillon can spot a Steubenville car without looking at the plate. Remember to take your spitters out of the counsole, and that's just the women.

Relax Steubenville people, I kid, without you guys we wouldn't have Jeff Foxworthys Redneck jokes.

I know you have a one track mind when it comes to your favorite team, but I said GOOD not GREAT; you know, like Massillon used to be 50 years ago?

There will be four scrimmages at Harding Stadium tomorrow (8/19 ) starting at 5 P.M.. Harding Middle School will play Union Local at 5. Wheeling Central Varsity vs. Big Red Varsity will play next, Wheelng Central Reserves vs. B.R.Reserves next, then the freshmen from those two teams will play in the last scrimmage. Gates open at four P.M..
A lot of talk about this freshman team's size and speed. Good chance to see what's on the horizon talent wise.
    Cheers.

What happened to Union Local? Did they cop out on us because of the feud between Big Red and the Buckeye 8?

The only thing we heard was: " Union Local did not have enough players to make a game of it."

Did you go to the scrimmage?
Wheeling Central ran the counter trap to both sides and Big Red varsity had trouble stopping that play the whole game. They'll be working on defending that play, I'm sure.
On the plus side, Lucky Mclure #31, made all his extra points and # 90 can reach the endzone on kickoffs. Offensive line blocking was superb.
It's hard to believe that the first game is upon us already.
    Cheers.

Yes, I went to all three scrimmages. I can't wait for next Thursday to roll around. Then we will find out for sure what we have.

I would like to attend the Creek game at Weir Friday night, but I don't want to go by myself. Are there any Big Red fans who would like to go with me?
  • seabee570
fairwood,I might consider it ,but I like to go to the best games around.I was thinking of going to the brooke vs. parkersburg game at brooke. Parkersburg has been a power, but I think they may be down since a new coach took over. there may be a few br fans going across the river to see what brooke looks like.
