Indian Creek 2010

We definitely have a better chance at beating St. C than Ferry but anything is possible either way i still see Creek going to the playoffs this year.

Ferry is overrated. I think they try to be the big bullies of that league and you guys let them get away with it . Wheeling Central doesnt put up with theyre crap . Everyyear they either beat them or come very close . Id like to see them guys play us . They dont mind putting starters against us in reserve action but let them get on the field with us . we will beat them by 40 by the first half . Go Potters!!!

If this is "THE YEAR" then it starts tonight CREEK !!
  • Thinthickbigred
This is it . Is this going to be the IC we have come to know in big games or is this going to be your dad's Wintersville Warriors?
  • Thinthickbigred
Welp IC pooped again so how much charachter will they have ? Can they comeback after a MF loss ? All last three games are winnable and it will still put your team into the playoffs

St.Clairsville offensive line was great and the passing game was made to look easy. Did think it would be this big of a blow out.

    Indian Creek Playoff push

    Aug 24 2010-Oct 1st 2010

I don't agree with that at this point in time Creek is still in it but every game is a must win from here on so in week 10 we are not hoping the right teams win and lose for us to get in
  • d.woods50fan.
They are done and I'M not trying to put them down in any way. Unless a total meltdown from the teams ahead of they, its over! And trust me I always hope creek does well.
  • Thinthickbigred
As predicted EL put the wood to Ferry .hehehehehehe . IC you guys are still in it ,if your team can hold up to adversity this year. They may give Ferry a game for a half but as stated all last three games are winnable and Bellaire is racking up wins now so it will come down to the Edison game unless you guys fall flat . I wish that Otto kid could have come to the Red . Going to Tiger town next week in front of a huge crowd cant wait .

You need help from your teams NOW. Look you fell to 14th in the region. IC needs wins from Weir, UL, BL and hope John Hay keeps up the winning ways. Then they need to win out. I don't see that happening. I just see IC duplicating the 09' season mark of 6-4.

Are they about done w/ Connor? Doesn't seem like he's getting them over the hump.

6-4 looks at best right now . MF will beat you guys . Id like to see somebody beat the big bad boys from ferry . East Liverpool didnt put up with them . They spanked them . Just dont get blown out . I suspect Ferry will come out with haymakers . If you stay with them they will run out of gas . rope a dope . Its your O line that wins or loses this game . If they man up and get mean and nasty and dont quit. Run that Otto kid on 1st 2nd and 3rd down and then on 4th and 1 run him again . keep running him . If the line doesnt block ,it will be a long night.

6-4 is good enough for Creek. Everybody will be happy.

I wont be. I agree the team was a bottom dweller and it has stepped up to average or slightly above average, but the next step has not happened yet. I credit the coach and his staff for giving it some direction. I think the coach deserves credit for that, but I exspect the next year or two it will rise or maybe a change is needed, if the school wants to achieve more. The freshman team is very good and young talent will be there. Time will tell.

outdoorsman, I agree. There has been improvement in the program. There is the possibility of improvement over the next couple years as the team matures. Last week only 4 seniors were announced as starters, with 2 sophomores. Several other sophomores are seeing action during the games, this experience should pay off over the next couple seasons. Over the next couple years Creek should be playing at the same level as St. C. and Ferry as the young players progress with good coaching.

Creek still has the opportunity to finish with a record above .500 with a very young team. In previous years Creek only achieved this with veteran players. We should wait and see how the coaches proceed through the next couple seasons before any discussion of changing coaches is brought up.

I don't know if 6-4 should allow him to keep the job. You have coaches there that want a shot and these coaches actully work for Indian Creek. Creek has had good freshmen teams in the past. We need to get a coach in there that can find the way to win and win big games.

Im not ready to throw him under the bus yet, but I do think this team needs to be better in big games. Last week was a disaster. St. Clairsville has done a great job in building the program and Ferry will be more than we can handle.

Every year you hear how good the freshman,8thgrade,and 7thgrade are. I've been hearing it on different sites for the last 5 years. What about that Dynasty10 thing they had?

The Dynasty10 was a bunch of freshman that had a great season. Its as simple as that. That team lost to St.C by seven last year. I honestly say, that if the game was six quarters, Creek might have won.

All that aside, that team was not ready out of the gate. Blame the coaches if you want. That team should have made the playoffs. This team needs to over achieve NOW, to have any chance at all.

Just say that he would get fired, honestly who would take the job? It can't be anyone who really makes them work hard like Sam did because we all know how that ended !

We need to remember that this year's team is very young. Sophomore starters may out number senior starters! I know everyone was all hyped up for this year, but I said it early and I'll say it again...this is a building year. With the amount of talent and potential these younger kids have and the amount of playing time they are seeing, they could do great things the next two years.

If we go 6-4 this year, I will be happy. I do not expect playoffs. However, next year, if we do not make it, THEN discuss altering the coaching lineup.

    Yes very young..and still learning!

If your guys upset Ferry then your right in the thick of it again. If you lose which many think ,you need to come back the following week and really get after it . 7-3 and you guys will make the playoffs . Alot of teams high will stumble . Alot of the teams ahead of you play each other as well . Its a matter of the character of this team . Edison could become a playoff game . That is the position that you want to be in during the finale Friday.
