    We didnt fire the first salvo here . We only responded to digs on us ,now it is escalating . I am more than glad to talk IC football on this thread which is what I intend to do . However if I see a dig on Steubenville I will respond . We can end this here and move on .

    My son will stay at indian creek. He will not be eligible to play his senior year though. his age and the school he went to in Youngstown recommended him be held back. that hurt him. I was against it cause it was kindergarten. He is gong to be hurting his senior year.

    Why wont he be eligible? Did he just transfer? You can be 19 and play football . Alot of kids get held back unless some smart people changed some rules. I think even if you just transfer you can play ,there just has to be stipulations like good reasons for transferring .

    Gesh, I live in Wintersville and work in Steubenville and have all the respect in the world for the Steubenville football program and all its athletics. These are kids who give 100% and should be respected for that. All jabbing aside, if Creek aint playin, im often following Big Red. Thinthickbigred, Im glad you join in on the Creek threads. You often keep them alive. I would love to see more Creek fans get involved in these threads.

    I think this is a critical part of Creeks season. They have a tough schedule left. If they start to fall apart they could end up 6-4 or even 5-5. Now if they get on a roll they will get a ton of points for post season play.
    Hope to see them win until week 10.

    What do you have to offer? Whats wrong with having a school in downtown Steubenville rather than having one in the styx where your kids have to wait on buses for a long time and it takes an hour to get home . In the winter our roads are much more safe and the roads are well taken care of . think about it . I know you dont like us I dont care . You think our school is some kind of crime ridden area? Its not . high school kids have several places they can walt to for lunch . plenty of parking .and alot of kids can walk home from school .

Atleast you know where I am from so you make your little hit and run remarks ,thats real brave . I havent seen one worthwhile comment from you . All I ever here from you is sarcasm , little out downs and down right slander and falasies. I dont mind a little trash talking from time to time but dont just throw trash .     I know plenty of Ex Golden Warriors that have sent their kids down to the red. Their choice of course.

    I know and when I replied I was half joking when I said trout to the promise land . I wasnt taking it that serious then others started chiming in and so it escalated . no big deal to me . Model likes to talk trash on all threads .

    Creek can upset some of these teams that people think will crush them. If they can finish 8-2 they should be in. I think the boys out there will suprise everyone before the season is over.

    I think this game sets the tempo for Indian Creek! If they win this game I think they continue to win right up to Week 10, then they battle it out with Edison. But if they lose then I think they lose the following week too and that'll kill their chances at the playoffs! I for one will be rooting for the Creek!

    Creek's football team has improved over the last couple years. Can't get much worse than 2-8. The next 2 weeks will define their season. Win or lose, I believe they are improving each week. It takes time to build a great program, they are moving in the right direction.

    One thing I never doubt going into any Creek game. Creek will have the best band on the field that night. This has been true for about 5 years now, and they have never disappointed. They bring in people from Ohio University each year to help design routines and write musical arrangements of popular music for a large band.

    The last half of IC's schedule is a going to be rough. St Clairsville (5-0), Martins Ferry (5-0), Harrison Central (2-3), Bellaire (3-2), Edison (4-1). At worst if they could repeat 6-4 again that would be a positive. But if they could get wins over HC, Bellaire and upset Edison the season would look brighter.

    I just think that we will see a log jam at the 7th and 8th seeds. Teams like Dover, EL, Salem not to mention if IC or Edison are in the fight.

    This is it playoff time. If IC wins this game and then finishes off the season with 3 wins they will not only be in they will host there first playoff game . Liverpool is going to lay the wood to Ferry so IC will lose next week . nomatter what St C does this week they will get beat next week at Edison . I dont think Ferry is anything but they got a spell on alot of these Buckeye 8 teams .. Edison will be in . EL will be in . Its in IC's court to have that magnificant band play after week 10 . and I mean on the grid iron where it really counts
