Wayne County Athletic League Football 2015

RedRider1Good luck to the county schools.
I think Chippewa and Waynedale have the best shot at winning. Smithville seems to have thrown in the towel but week 11 can refresh a team. 224 schools are still practicing in November and they're one of them. Make the best of it. -

Agree 100% the Chipps can beat Lake, time to flip the switch boys!!!!!!!!! Good luck to all the teams that made it in. Coaching becomes huge from here on out.UrADork;1760389 wrote:I think you are wrong ... the Chipps I think can beat the 10-0 Lake Flyers ... It doesn't look like they have been tested this season but once early on against Rossford ... who incidentally comes to play Norwayne ... I also think that Smithville can beat Columbia as they too as O-Trap stated are untested as well ... -

Absolutely. And even more important as the weeks continue. The further you get into the playoffs, the more important coaching is, because the further into the playoffs you go, the smaller the difference is between the talent levels.Alum01;1760489 wrote:Coaching becomes huge from here on out. -

Are you allowed to"X 2" on here? I thought maybe we were out on the playground in 2nd grade again... You never cease to provide laughter...

rrfanGood luck to those left. Leave nothing in the locker room and everything on the field.

oldsmithieI have not heard anymore about Tipple, I would assume that he might be used sparingly in the playoff game. The team seems to have nose dived since he is not starting. Time for the seniors to step up and get this team a little fired up for the game!! Put the last two games behind you and play some inspired football!! Best of luck the the area teams this weekend!

If they don't, they've missed their only chance to keep playing. It's win-or-go-home time, and I'm hoping that the team that edges out Chippewa shows up.oldsmithie;1760553 wrote:I have not heard anymore about Tipple, I would assume that he might be used sparingly in the playoff game. I meant Smithville.UrADork;1760602 wrote:Chippewa went home at halftime that night ...
I suppose I should specify that I hope the DEFENSE that played Chippewa shows up. The offense left at least a couple scores on the field.
Actually, I guess I'm more worried about the offense showing up anyway, especially with Tipple out. -

looks like you're whiny, personal agenda, grind that axe, negative point of view can't stop the other posters from being positive!
Waynedale is a good school that turns out good people....time to drop the axe and join the real WCAL fans no matter what their opinions on your family are. -
Red RumIMO, everybody has a decent chance. Nobody has to play a MAC team or any other recent playoff powerhouse.
Norwayne probably has the strongest advantage playing at home (well...near home)
Anything can happen when Waynedale takes the field. A 50-0 Bear blow out or the Bears getting blown out. Let's hope the Bears shake off the long ride and bring their A game.
Chippewa is another team that can win big or fall hard. Hoping for the former.
Although Smithville has been playing poorly and is somewhat one dimensional. Columbia can be had. Hope the Smithies do it.
Good luck to all and I don't feel the WCAL going 3-1 or 2-2 is out of the question. I just hope we aren't one and done for the league after this weekend. -

If the Chipps and the Bears both win ... Then they play each other again I think ... In Orrville maybe.RedRider1;1760408 wrote:Good luck to the county schools.

Correct. Chippewa would play Norwayne in week 12 if both win.Alum01;1761164 wrote:I wish, but I think your wrong.I think they will play Norwayne.
Doubt this would be in Orrville as Norwayne plays there tomorrow. Not in stone, but I think OHSAA tries to not have teams on the same playoff field 2 weeks in a row. Maybe Medina? Wooster? -

Is this guy for real? Positive, huh?...honestly junior...you don't have a clue...go back under your rock...TOO EASY! -
Old RiderRight...the only time teams may play on the same field twice in a row in the playoffs tend to be the regional or state semi games.
Would like to see it back at Orrville if both win, but Wooster makes more sense. -
Wcal observerAttention all Waynedale fans, will you corral the village idiot. This idiot continues to message me, because he doesn't have the balls, or brains to do so in public forum. Thus, I'm going to call out and expose the idiot.
1. I could care less if Waynedale wins, loses, or even exists for that matter. Why this clown continues to message me about Waynedale; I have no clue? I will say this, I do hope they get spanked now, solely because of the "Idiot". Nothing against the team, coach, or fans.
2. He seems to not let go of the fact that I believe the personnel is out of position. I have said this for 2 years, and many others have as well. Again, I don't care who plays where for them. I'm only offering insight and generating conversation. That being said, YES I feel #32 should have been the QB, and YES I feel there are some politics involved. That is called an opinion "Idiot". The offense has always looked better with #32 at the helm. The idiot even reached out to some last year when the season was lost, and asked if that is what should have been done. Again, I don't care who plays where; it doesn't affect me one bit.
3. What is the relationship of the idiot, and coaching staff? I believe in supporting the staff, but blind faith? I also believe in having the ability to question, or second guess decisions. Sports are entertainment! We watch, and discuss games Friday, Saturday, and Sunday's! That's why sites like this exist! The "Idiot" treats Waynedale like a communist dictator! Idiot, I hear nothing but good things about Matt, but that doesn't mean he's a good X & O Coach. I'm not saying he isn't either, but he's open to debate being a coach. I will say there seems to be a failure to maximize talent in Waynedale. The Idiot made a comment in one of his messages that "we" see the kids daily. Hope someone can elaborate on "we"; could this be the reason the comments of others hits so close to home?
4. Lastly I feel sorry that the Waynedale community has to live with, and have the Idiot represent their school. He offers nothing positive to his community, and is a terrible reflection of the other Waynedale fans. The idiot alone, is reason enough to hate Waynedale. Again, not because of the fans, team, or coaches; because of the Idiot. He has ruined many of topics, discussions, and friendly banter with his behavior. I have responded to him via messages, and tried to be logical with him. That was a futile effort. I have resorted to calling him names, embarrassing him, and the Idiot continues to act as if I care about him, or his views. From this point on if the Idiot messages me, I will post them on the public forum so all can see the mind if the Idiot.
No hard feelings to the true Waynedale fans, and those that exhibit common sense, but hopefully "The Village Idiot" is put to rest tomorrow night. He may very well be the biggest clown there is. -

If the Waynedale game comes down to X's & O's it will be a long bus ride home. 1-3 against the top league teams this year with as much talent as any seems to be a X's & O's, not the Jimmy & Joe's as the Idiot would say. Now I'll wait for my inbox to blowup. Best of luck to ALL teams this weekend, hey how about a week 13 match up chipps & bears, Wow that would be fun.Wcal observer;1761197 wrote:Attention all Waynedale fans, will you corral the village idiot.
