  norwayne's freshman football season is over! standing on the sidelines must get pretty boring...

  OH-MY, please don't. First of all, lifeis_notfootball, unless your name is Joe Paterno and we all know what kind of mess that will get you. Go back to practice, shut your pie-hole, and focus on what you need to do kid, focus on your attitude, focus on giving a 100%, and just focus on focusing. Blabbing your mouth on here will not help you or your team, cause that cost you a game in week 9.

  I have never been to New Philly High school, I hear it is a nice stadium, but I have also heard that the parking will be terrible....anybody with some info on this?......if so can you give both teams some ideas on where to park.....

  These kind of posters really make me mad. Norwayne has had a nice run this season, and won a lot of people over to become fans late in the year. (me especially). And they have done it rather quietly, sure some of them had to eat some crow after the Smithville game, but all in all they have gone out and taken care of business. With a few exceptions most people here who represent the Bobcats have been fun to talk with, and haven't really crossed any lines of bad taste. Even when they very easily could have. So, to lifeisfootball time to leave sites like this alone, you are single handidly embarassing your schools stellar season.
  
  Leave the football talk to the grown ups, and go grab Paul and you two take some water to the varsity players, they have a game to prepare for.

  Beast is on the Norwayne bandwagon for another week....(hopefully 2)....that being said, I wont even quote the silly post that is certainly not a Norwayne poster. The Cats, much to my surprise, have won quietly and gracefully ALL year. The fans havent been on here being jack wagons, they have let their play on the field do the talking. Us fans from OTHER schools are the ones talking!!!!
  
  This game is going to be a good one, the fool who made the silly post simply is trying to stir the pot.....EVERYONE here knows that mentality is not what gets you to week 14...OR wins ballgames! (Unless you are Mooney)

  If you don't know already, the football field is in the community park and NOT at the high school. This will be NOTHING like Medina where there were parking lots for home and visiting teams with room the tailgate, etc. This is very similar to Louisville, if you've ever been there, where everyone is on their own to find parking as near to the stadium as possible. There are 3 small parking lots for the park (on East and West sides of a small pond, and West of the baseball field on top of the hill). Otherwise, most will have to parallel park in the community somewhere and walk. Here are some simple directions that should help:
  
  Route 77 from the North:
  
  1. Get off at the New Philadelphia Exit 81
  2. Turn left off the exit onto OH-39
  3. Proceed to the square (approx. 1.9 miles)
  4. Turn left on North Broadway
  5. Proceed through town (approx. .8 miles), past the tennis courts
  6. Quaker Stadium is at the bottom of the hill (on the left)
  
  I normally park at the South end of the park near the pond (near Park Place Teen Center, 161 Tuscora Avenue Northwest, New Philadelphia, OH). It's a small lot and a little walk through the park, but it's not bad and is nice scenery. This will bring you up behind the home stands. Another (larger) parking lot is on top of the hill just West of the baseball field, on top of the hill.

  with J-M having a 180 member band...will Norwayne (home team) forfeit the Amphitheatre to allow more seating for the visitors band? Will this play into the game atmosphere with the acoustics assisting the already HUGE/LOUD band?

  I agree. Arlin made the most sense but the St. Iggy Whitmer game is there. I don't know where else you play this one?? Ashland U or Ashland High? Or just have Johnstown travel a bit further to Fawcett... it is vacant Saturday evening.

  I got on here to know more about the Norwayne team not to start a fight you don't know 2 much about are team and we don't know yours
  But when someone start posting Oh were going to beat your team I have no idea if it's a Johnstown fan starting or a Norwayne fan I hope this will be a good game still a little nervous on team we are playing but hopefully Johnstown will Win with no injuries

  Columbusguy, I think most are in the same boat as you. Other than that one poster (lifeisfootball, or whatever), I think everyone else is feeling the same way as you - it should be a great game between two great teams.
